Rose Fitzsimmons (née Nulty)

Lattagloghan/Drumfomina, Ballyjamesduff, Cavan

In the loving care of her daughter Breda Mc Mahon and family.

Predeceased by her husband Patrick, brothers and sister.

Deeply regretted by her sons and daughters Breda (Brian), Tom (Bríd), Tony (Ger R.I.P), Rosemary Sheridan (Patrick), her fourteen grandchildren, her niece, nephews, brother and sisters in law, extended family and many friends.

Removal from the residence of Breda and Brian Mc Mahon (Lattagloghan) on Monday, 4th May, to arrive at St Mary's Church, Clanaphilip (A82 AR26), for Funeral Mass at 12pm, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery.

Funeral will take place in line with the new government restrictions.

A memorial Mass will be held to celebrate Rose's life at a later date.

 

 

Ann Heiss (née Duffy)

Barrack Road, Kilnaleck, Cavan

Saturday, May 2nd (peacefully) surrounded by family.

Pre-deceased by her husband Hanz. Deeply regretted by her sisters Kathleen and Bernadette, brother Gerry, nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Due to the current Government and HSE guidelines on public gatherings, Ann's Funeral will be private to family.

 

 

Eileen O'Dowd (née O'Reilly)

Derries, Killeshandra, Cavan

May 2, 2020, in her 100th year, peacefully, at College View Nursing Home, Cavan.

Predeceased by her husband Jack, sons Garry and Charles and step-daughter Paddy (Pádraigín). Deeply regretted by her children John, Tom, Brian, Mary, Anne, Jim, Joe, Teresa, Jaki, Paul, Andrew, Breda and Catherine, brothers Vincent and Seamus, sister Josie, grandchildren and great -grandchildren, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends.

Due to current government and HSE restrictions, a private funeral for Eileen will take place on Sunday, 3rd May, in St. Brigid's Church, Killeshandra for immediate family only, with burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Please note that Eileen's homeplace in the Derries remains strictly private.

Eileen's final journey will take her along the Cavan - Killeshandra road passing by the entrance lane to her homeplace in the Derries, with one last visit to her hometown of Killeshandra before proceeding to St. Brigid's Church.

 

Paddy Flynn

Selton, Gorvagh, Mohill, Leitrim

Peacefully, at his home in Selton, surrounded by his devoted family. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife Margaret his sons Pádraig, Niall and Brendan, daughters-in-law Stephanie, Mary and Deidre, grandchildren, nephew, nieces, extended family, friends and neighbours.

House and church are strictly private, due to current government restrictions around Covid-19.

The funeral cortege will leave St. Joseph’s Church, Gorvagh, at 11.45 on Monday the 4th of May, for burial in Mohill Cemetery.

Your prayers and thoughts are gratefully appreciated by the family at this time.

Communication with the family can be made via message, phonecall, letter or Mass card.

Heartfelt thanks to all the medical staff and carers who have been of such great support to Paddy and family throughout.

A memorial Mass will be held at a later date to celebrate Paddy’s life.

Patrick (Paddy) O'Brien

Mahon, Latton, Monaghan

May 2, 2020, peacefully, at Cavan General Hospital, Cavan.

Predeceased by his parents Frank and Maire, sisters Maura and Eileen (Ina). Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving family brother Gerry, sister-in-law Maire, nephews Aidan and Barry, nieces Sandra, Jackie (Portlaoise) Carol and Deirdre, relatives and friends.

Paddy's funeral will be strictly private, please.

The funeral cortege leaving Mullen's Funeral Home, Cootehill, this Sunday at 2.15pm, via Skerrig Road, Hut Cross, turn left passed his residence to Veldones Cross and on to Latton Cemetery at 3pm and private burial afterwards.
