Man charged with ATM theft to appear in Virginia District Court

A man who was arrested by gardaí investigating thefts of ATM machines in the Garda Northwest and Eastern Regions will appear  before a sitting of Virginia District Court this morning, Friday, January 10.

The male in his late 20s was arrested on Monday, January 6 in Castleblayney, for an offence contrary to Section 73 of the Criminal Justice Act 2006. The male has an address in Northern Ireland.

Last Tuesday, January 7, as part of Joint Agency Task Force co-ordination, the PSNI in support of An Garda Síochána carried out a search in the Crossmaglen area, Co. Armagh.
