Michael Rowe Birch

Cavan Road, Virginia, Cavan

The death has occurred of Michael Rowe Birch, Cavan Road, Virginia, Co. Cavan, peacefully at Cavan General Hospital, on 1st August 2023, surrounded by his loving family. Much loved husband of Ann (née Hession). Deeply regretted by his wife, his cousin John Watson, his sister in law, his brothers in law, extended family and friends.

Rest In Peace.

Reposing at Matthews Funeral Home, Bailieborough Road, Virginia (A82YV58) on Thursday evening from 5 o'clock until 7 o'clock.

A private cremation will take place for family at Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan.

Family flowers only. Donations in lieu if desired to Dog Trust, by donation envelope c/ o Matthews Funeral Directors.

Theresa Connelly

Drumrora, Ballyjamesduff, Cavan / Ballymun, Dublin

Theresa passed away peacefully in her 86th year beloved wife of the late Tommy. Predeceased by her husband, son Jimmy, grandson and daughter in law. Loving mother of Anne, Tina, Laura, Thomas, Marie.

Deeply regretted by her son, daughters, son's in law, daughter in law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren. sister Betty, nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.

REST IN PEACE

Reposing at her daughter and son in law Anne and John Smith residence, Drumrora on Wednesday evening from 6pm until 9pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday morning at 11am in St Joseph's Church, Ballyjamesduff with burial afterwards in Glasnevin cemetery Dublin.

Theresa family give a big thank you to Sue (carer) who cared and supported Theresa throughout.

Elizabeth Cooney

(née Reilly)

Blackrock, Louth / Belturbet, Cavan

Late of Donaghmore, Kilkerley and formerly of Keenaghan, Belturbet, Co. Cavan. Peacefully surrounded by her family in the kind and gentle care of the staff at Curam Care Home Dundalk. Beloved wife of the late Harry and cherished mother of daughters Audry Turton, Bernadette O’Connor, sons Brian and Kevin. Predeceased by her granddaughter Rachel, parents Rose & Patrick, sister Mary and brother Bernard. Elizabeth will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her daughters, sons, sons-in-law Brian & Michael, daughters-in-law Mary & Máiread, 14 adored grandchildren, 12 doting great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a wonderful circle of friends.

Reposing at the residence of her son Brian & Mary Cooney, Greyacre Road, Dundalk (Eircode A91 EV22) on Thursday afternoon between 4pm and 8pm. Removal on Friday morning at 10.30 to The Church of the Immaculate Conception, Kilkerley arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am. Thereafter to Brid-a-Crinn Cemetery for burial.

The sudden death has occurred of Louise Emerson (nee Mc govern) on Saturday July 22nd.

Predeceased by her father John Mc Govern.

Deeply regretted by her husband Richard, sons James & Daniel, mother Chrissie, brother Phillip(Sinead), sisters Caroline(Matt), Christina(Andy), relatives, neighbours and friends.

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden and unexpected death of Benedict Lamb O'Sullivan, at his home, on Sunday July 30th 2023.

Recently predeceased by his loving Nan, Mary Jane Lamb.

Adored son of Declan and Siobhán, treasured brother of Rachel and Zachary and sorrowfully missed by his family, extended family and wide circle of friends.

Ben's will repose (privately) at his family home Gola Irish, Scotstown. Ben’s funeral cortège will travel from the family home on Friday morning at 10:15am, (via Scotstown, Ballinode, Park St., The Diamond and Dublin Street), to arrive at St. Macartan's Cathedral, Monaghan, for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by burial in Latlurcan Cemetery.

House strictly private by the request of Ben’s family.

Kiea Mc Cann

3 Fitzpatricks Square, Clones, Monaghan

The untimely death has occurred of Kiea Mc Cann, Clones, Co. Monaghan, alongside her best friend Dlava Mohamed following a tragic car accident. Kiea is predeceased by her brother Jason.

Kiea will be forever missed and always loved by her mum Teresa, her father Franky, her brothers and sisters; Brandon, Jentzen, Frankie, Michaela, Shauna, Shaunice, Tameaka, Tanisha , Amelia and her wide circle of best friends and family.

Kiea will also be missed by her heartbroken grandmothers Mary Ellen Mc Cann and Anna Rose Flynn, her two nephews Tadhg and Liam, her uncles and aunts, cousins and friends.

Kiea will leave Clerkin's Funeral Home tonight (01/08/2023), eircode H18 YF22 at 10pm to arrive in Clones at approximately 10:30pm.

The untimely death has occurred of Dlava Mohamed, alongside her best friend Kiea Mc Cann following a tragic car accident.

Cherished and much loved daughter of Hohamed and Zenab Mohamed. Dlava will be sadly missed by her brothers Mostafa and Rashid and her sisters Lilov, Asmahan, Auin and Giham.

Dlava will also be sorely missed by her wide circle of family and friends.

Cornelius (Nailey) Slowey

The death has occurred of Cornelius (Nailey) Slowey, Leonard's Island, Clones, Co. Monaghan, Tuesday 1st August. peacefully, in the care of the doctors and nurses at the Lisdarn unit, Cavan. Predeceased by his parents, Patrick and Gretta, his sisters Margaret Quigley and Mary Mc Quaid and his brothers Tommy and Paddy. Cherished and much loved husband of Ann. Nailey will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his wife, sister-in-law Josie, nieces, nephews, extended family, many friends, neighbours, and by all who knew and loved Nailey.

Nailey will be resting at the family home, Leonard's Island, Clones H23CY64 tomorrow, Wednesday, from 4pm until 8pm,(House private at all other times including Thursday Morning Please) with removal on Thursday morning at approx 10.20am to arrive at the Sacred Heart Chapel, Clones, for 11am Funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in Mount St Oliver's Cemetery, Clones.
