Love lorn anonymous post seeks out Carrick Festival hunk

The Carrickmacross Festival might be ready to rival the famed Lisdoonvarna Matchmaking Festival following a recent post online.

A local woman looking for love has reached out to the community in the hope they might be able to help identify the Kingscourt man who swept her off her feet at the recent Carrickmacross Festival.

The Carrickmacross Festival took place over the June Bank Holiday weekend and the message has since been shared widely on social media since.

It has even been shared on the Kingscourt Community Information page, along with the statement: “Come on lads let’s help this woman find paddy aged 35-42 with a hat & beard …it’s Ireland surely that’s enough info”.

Titled Carrickmacross Dolls, the person who has kept their post anonymous, stated: “This is so cringe I had to go anon.”

She then explains how she met this “gorgeous guy” at the Carrick Festival in Markey’s Pub around 11:45pm.

“He was soo attractive, he was chatting to myself [and] my group of mates. His name is paddy from outside Kingscourt. I went to ask for his number [and] he disappeared. He is single he asked me was I too.”

The post continues: “So I said [maybe] the gang here might [be] able to help me find him or know who he is. He was chatting to [two] women there too friends of his.”

The anonymous post ends: “Life’s too short so I said f it I’m gonna chance me arm here. My mates are gonna know who this is”.
