Volunteers sought for Cavan Arts Festival

Events run in Con Smith Park and throughout Cavan Town between May 18-21.

Do you want to or know someone who would like to take part in one of the biggest events on the Cavan arts calendar? Organisers at Cavan Arts Festival are looking for you to get involved and join their volunteer and crew team.

Taking place from Thursday, May 18 to Sunday, May 21, activities range from putting up circus tents to welcoming artists, decorating the park to simply enjoying a cup of tea with the rest of those involved.

"We are looking for more people to welcome to our volunteer & crew team for this year's festival, May 18th - 21st. Activities range from putting up circus tents to welcoming artists, decorating the park to enjoying a cup of tea with all the team. A lot of fun & a very cool experience with a welcoming, friendly team plus you get to see loads of great shows and gigs."

Now entering its sixth year, eye and ear catching highlights of this year's festival are an exhibition by Turner Prize winners and the world première of a new immersive sound and visual installation at a secret subterranean location.
