Desmond Ennis

Ballyconnell, Cavan

Desmond Ennis. Ballyconnell, Co. Cavan, Sunday, May 7th, peacefully, after a long illness borne with dignity and courage and in the loving care of his family and the staff of Cavan General Hospital. Predeceased by his parents Arthur and Gladys and brother Victor. Beloved husband and best friend of Mildred (Millie). Desmond will be very sadly missed and dearly loved by his son Scott (Karen) and daughter Rebecca (Stephen). Mother of his children Bernice, sisters Patricia, Vanessa and Genevieve, brothers Arthur, Breccene, Uncle Harold, grandchildren Luke, Emma, Shay, and Erin, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, all the family circle and his many, many friends.

Desmond will be resting in Castlemanor Nursing Home Oratory tomorrow, Monday, 8th May, from 4pm - 8pm (H12 VH73) and on Tuesday, 9th May, at his residence in Tumbelin, Ballyconnell (H14 NX62) from 5pm-8pm. House private outside of reposing times, please.

Funeral service in Tomregan Parish Church, Ballyconnell, on Wednesday, 10th May, at 2pm, followed by burial in the adjoining churchyard.

Family flowers only please, donations, in lieu, would be much appreciated to Cavan Alzheimer's Association c/o Clive Magee Funeral Director or any family member.

Patricia Galligan (née Hynes)

Curragho, Cavan

Patricia Galligan (nee Hynes), Curragho, Cavan, Sunday May 7th 2023, peacefully in the loving care of the staff at Castlemanor Nursing Home, surrounded by her family.

Predeceased by her parents Jack and Edna.

Patricia will be very sadly missed by her loving husband and best friend Francie and her family, Catherine (Dara), Claire (Niall), Sarah (Aidan), John (Susie) and Niall (Sinead), her adored grandchildren, brothers and sisters Jack, Robert, Collette, Paul, Anne and Noreen, brothers and sisters in law, nephews, nieces, all her extended family, great neighbours and many friends.

May she rest in peace.

Reposing at the Mc Mahon Funeral Home, Farnham Rd, Cavan on Tuesday evening from 5pm until 7pm. Patricia's remains will leave her home in Curragho on Wednesday morning at 11 o'clock and will travel to the Cathedral of Saints Patrick and Felim, Cavan for Funeral Mass at 11.30. Burial will take place afterwards in St. Brigid's Cemetery, Killygarry. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu to the Alzheimer's Society Cavan Branch. Sally Robins (née Acheson)

No 2 Drumrane Grove, Drung and formerly of 10 Main Road, Stradone Village, Stradone, Cavan

Peacefully, in the wonderful and loving care of her daughter Anne and son in law Paul. Pre-deceased by her husband David and sister Gretta. Cherished mother of Gary and Anne and beloved mother-in-law of Grace and Paul. Devoted and loving grandmother to Harry, James, David, Morgan and Violet. Sally will also be missed by her nieces Lorraine and Lorna and nephew Billy, neighbours and wide circle of friends.

Resting at Lakeland's Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan, tomorrow, Monday, from 5pm to 7pm and at the residence of her daughter Anne (No 2 Drumrane Grove, Drung H12 HT25) on Tuesday from 5pm to 9pm. House private all at other times.

Removal on Wednesday (via Stradone Village), to arrive at Lavey Parish Church for Funeral Service at 2pm, followed by private cremation.
