Kathleen Brady (nee Brady) late of Rathrussan, Mountain Lodge, Cootehill, Co.Cavan. Died 2nd May 2023, peacefully at Cavan General Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Deeply regretted by her loving husband Jim, brother Jimmy, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and many friends.

Rest In Peace

Reposing at Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Rd., Cavan, this Wednesday evening from 6pm to 9pm. Removal on Thursday morning to St.Patrick's Church, Carrickallen, Mountain Lodge arriving for 12 noon Funeral mass via Tullyvin and Rathrussan. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

Bernadette Fitzpatrick (née Donnelly)

Cavan Road, Oldcastle, Meath / Monaghan / Cavan

Bernadette Fitzpatrick (neé Donnelly) 2nd of May 2023, peacefully at Cavan General Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Beloved wife of Joe (PJ), cherished mother of Elizabeth, PJ and Aoife, adored grandmother to Padraic, Katie, Aishling, Luke and Éabha, mother in law of Joe and Martina, sadly missed by all her extended family and friends.

Reposing at her residence, Cavan Road, Oldcastle on Thursday the 4th of May from 4.30pm to 8.30pm. Removal Friday morning, 5th of May, to St. Brigid's Catholic Church, Oldcastle, Co. Meath arriving for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in St. Michael's Cemetery, Annyalla, Co.Monaghan

Philomena McCormack (née Connolly)

Leck, Threemilehouse, Monaghan / Westmeath

peacefully at Mullinahinch House Nursing Home.

Predeceased by her husband Paddy, her sisters Peg and Roseanne and her brothers Charlie and Packie.

Sadly missed by her sister Mary Barrett, her brother in law John Barrett, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

May she rest in peace.

Removal today Wednesday (03/05/2023), arriving at St. Michael’s Church, Corcaghan at 7.30 p.m. Funeral Mass in St. Michael’s Church, Corcaghan on Thursday (04/05/2023) at 10 a.m., followed by burial in Cornamagh cemetery, Athlone.

Rosarie Cogan

Glasnevin, Dublin / Carrickmacross, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Rosarie Cogan. Glasnevin, Dublin & formerly Patrician Drive, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan, 1st May 2023. Peacefully, surrounded by her cherished family, at St. Francis Hospice, Blanchardstown. Predeceased by her parents Peter & Rita, her infant sister Deirdre Chanel, her nephews Kieran & Liam and her brother-in-law Benny Woods.

Sadly missed and remembered with love by her beloved family, her sisters Shirley Woods, Rita Brill & Mary McGinn and her brothers Tom, Peter & John, her sisters-in-law Rosaleen & Bridie and her brother-in-law Francie McGinn, her nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives, friends & neighbours.

Rosarie will repose at Lonergan Funeral Directors Funeral Home, Main Street, Carrickmacross, A81 D328, on Wednesday, 3rd May, from 5pm until 8pm.

Rosarie's funeral cortège will leave the Funeral Home on Thursday, 4th May, proceeding on foot to St. Joseph's Church, Carrickmacross, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery.

Peader Duffy

Muckno Street, Castleblayney, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Peader Duffy, 1 Muckno Street, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan, Monday, 1st May 2023, peacefully, in Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Frank and Katie, brother Tommy, daughter-in-law Khalda and nephew Kieran. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife Noelle, sons Francis (Vivian), Paul (Sonia) and Simon (Yvonne), his sister Mary, brother-in-law Paul English, sister-in-law Madge Duffy, his beloved grandchildren, Omar, Katie, Emma and Abaigh, nieces, extended family, neighbours and wide circle of friends.

Reposing at Hughes’ Funeral Premises (A75 KC66) on Wednesday from 5 pm to 9pm and then privately at his home until removal on Friday morning travelling via McGrath Road and Main Street by car at 10:30 arriving to St. Mary’s Church, Castleblayney for requiem mass at 11 am with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
