Patsy Briody

Clonoose, Ballyheelan, Kilnaleck, Cavan

Patsy died peacefully, after a short illness, at his home on Friday, 28th April 2023. Predeceased by his wife Margaret and his sister Noleen. Sadly missed by his son Colm, daughter in law Sinitta, his adored grandson Danny, his partner Rosemary, brothers Joe and Cornelius, sisters Betty (Reilly), Margo (Nulty), Ann (McCrann), Roseleen (O'Connor), Kathleen (Beatty), Eileen (Brady), Mary (McGivney), brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, neighbours extended family and friends.

Reposing at Reilly's Funeral Home, Kilcogy Village, (N39W1D6) on Saturday evening from 6pm. with prayers at 8 pm. Funeral Mass on Sunday at 3 pm. in St. Mary's Church, Ballinarry. Mass can be viewed:

Interment afterwards in adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu, to Palliative Care Cavan c/o the undertaker. House private, please.

Patrick Martin Higgins

Owen Roe Terrace, Cavan Town, Cavan

The death has occurred of Patrick Martin Higgins affectionately known as Bobby, Owen Roe Terrace, Cavan Town Thursday April 27th. Pre-deceased by his parents Paddy and Bridie, brother Paddy, sisters Marie and Brenda. Sadly missed by his sons Justin, Patrick and Thomas, daughters, Michelle, Mandy and Eireanne, brothers Tony, J.J., Gerard and Paul, sisters Angela and Teresa, his best friend Martina, Grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours & friends.

Reposing at the home of his brother Tony (64. Kilnavara Heights, Cavan), from 4pm to 8pm Saturday and from 5pm to 8pm, Sunday Removal on Monday, 1st of May, for Funeral service, at 12 noon in Lakelands Crematorium, Dublin Road, Cavan. Followed by Cremation.

Teresa Koberl

Annafarney, Shercock, Cavan

Teresa Koberl nee McElroy, Annafarney, Shercock, Co. Cavan. Beloved mother of Patrick, Nina and Seán, passed peacefully on Wednesday, April 26th, surrounded by her family in the Lisdarn Unit, Cavan. Sadly missed by her loving children, her daughter-in-law Gráinne and son-in-law Rory and her cherished grandchildren, Lotte, Kai, Fionn and Billy.

Funeral service in Lakelands Crematorium, Dublin Road, Cavan on Saturday, April 29th at 11.00am.

House strictly private at all times, please.

Dublin Street, Ballyjamesduff, Cavan

Peacefully, at home. Pre-deceased by his daughter Lorraine, his parents Patrick and Philomena. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Rosie and family Cathal (Sonia), Philip (Donna), Emma (Niall) and Rory (Maria), brothers Michael, Leonard and Darragh, sisters Diane, Aidine and Karen, grandchildren Johnnie, Charlie, Noah, Casey, Zach, Jessica-Rose and Cillian, brothers in law, sisters in law and all his extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Matthews funeral home, Virginia on Sunday evening (April 30th) from 5pm to 8pm. Arriving at St, Joseph's Church, Ballyjamesduff for Funeral Mass on Monday (May 1st) at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in the old cemetery on the Oldcastle road.

Bridget Duffy (née Forde)

Castleblayney, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Bridget Duffy(Nee Forde), Paddington, London and formerly of Creeve, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan, Thursday April 13th, who passed away peacefully at St. Mary’s Hospital, Westminster. Pre-deceased by her husband Eugene, daughter Kathleen and son Michael.

Bridget, deeply regretted and remembered with love by her daughters Maria, Bernadette and Geraldine and son Noel, her nine cherished grandchildren Frankie, Debbie, Ryan, Samantha, Jodie, Ciara, Lily, Eva and Patrick, and five great grandchildren Ellie, Archie, Caden, Darcy and Ralphie, sons in law, daughters in law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Bridget’s Funeral Mass will take place at St. Mary’s Church Carrickatee on Thursday morning, 4th May, at 11am, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Blackrock, Dublin / Clones, Monaghan

CARRON, Peter (Blackrock, Co. Dublin, formerly of Clones, Co. Monaghan) 28th April 2023.

Peacefully, in the gentle care of the staff at The Fern Dean Nursing Home, Dublin.

Peter, beloved husband of the late Frances (née Hanly) and devoted father of Frank, Neil, Aideen, Bronagh and Denis. Predeceased by his brother Michael. Sadly missed by his sons-in-law Micéal (Whelan) and Tom (Donohoe), daughters-in-law Hilda and Christina, grandchildren Ella, Peter, Evie, Elise, Hugh, Dónal, Emily, Tomás, Colm and Mary Kate, sister Noreen (McKenna), nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and a wide circle of relatives and friends.

May he Rest in Peace.

Funeral Mass on Wednesday, 3rd May at 10am in the Church of St. John the Baptist, Blackrock followed by burial in Deansgrange Cemetery.
