Martin Anderson

Martin Anderson, Brackloney, Castlerahan, Co. Cavan. 24th April 2023. Peacefully at Sheelin Nursing Home. Sadly, missed by his cousins John Byrne and family, Blessington, Co. Wicklow, the Sheridan family, Kilbride, Mountnugent, Co. Cavan, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May Martin rest in peace.

Reposing at Gibney’s Funeral Home Oldcastle, Co. Meath on Wednesday 26th April from 6pm to 8pm. Funeral Mass Thursday 27th April at 12pm in St. Mary’s Church, Castlerahan. Burial will take place afterwards in adjoining cemetery. The Family would like to thank the staff and management of the Sheelin Nursing Home for the care and attention Martin received.

Dorothy Bell (née Flanagan)

Chapel Road, Bailieborough, Cavan

Dorothy Bell nee Flanagan, Chapel Road, Bailieborough, Co Cavan died on the 25th April 2023 peacefully surrounded by her family. Predeceased by her husband Billy, brother Dermot and grandson Matthew.

Deeply regretted by her loving family, daughter Heather (Martin), sons Mark (Martin) and Clement (Catriona), sister Marjorie, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchildren Kerri, Éilis, Liam, Thomas, Molly and Nathan, extended family and friends.

Reposing at Clarke's Funeral Home, Bailieborough on Wednesday evening at 5pm-7pm. Removal from her residence on Thursday at 1:30pm via Henry Street and Main Street to arrive at Bailieborough Parish Church for funeral service at 2pm. Burial afterwards in adjoining graveyard. Family flowers only please donations in lieu, if desired, to the Irish Heart Foundation https://irishheart.ie/ways-to-give/ or via donation box.

Margaret (Maudie) Corrigan (née McGurrin)

Naughan, Belturbet, Cavan

The death has occurred of Margaret (Maudie) Corrigan (née McGurrin) Naughan, Belturbet, Co. Cavan (formerly New York) Monday, 24th April, peacefully, at Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by her loving family members. Predeceased by her husband Charlie and sister Kathleen. She will be sadly missed by her sons Sean and Declan, daughters Cathy and Ann, her brother John (Paddy), daughters-in-law Rebecca and Teresa, grandchildren Shane, Amelia, Charlie, Declan and Christopher, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May She Rest in Peace.

Margaret’s remains will be reposing at Lawlor's Funeral Home, Ernehill, Belturbet, Eircode (H14 R583), this Thursday evening from 6pm until evening prayers at 8pm. Funeral Mass in St. Patrick’s Church, Milltown at 11.00am on Friday morning 28th April with burial afterwards in Drumlane Cemetery.

Cavanagh, Ballyconnell, Cavan

April 23rd 2023, suddenly, at Beaumont Hospital, Dublin. Deeply regretted by her heartbroken parents Tommy & Eileen, partner David, sisters Catherine & Breda(Jamie), her adored nephew Paul, uncles, aunts, cousins & friends.

Reposing at the family home in Cavanagh tomorrow evening, Wednesday, from 5 o'clock until 8 o'clock. House private at all other times, please. Removal on Thursday morning to Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Ballyconnell, for funeral Mass at 12 noon, followed by cremation in Lakelands Crematorium, Dublin rd, Cavan. Family flowers only please. Donation-in-lieu to Dementia Ireland c/o the undertaker or any family member.

Margaret McGee nee Murray, Tamlet, Emyvale, Co.Monaghan, H18 D650. Monday 24th April peacefully at Drumbear Nursing Home.

Pre-deceased by her husband Pat, daughter in law Theresa, sisters Annie, Josie, Kay & Bridie and brother Jimmy. Lovingly remembered by her son Gerard, grandsons David, Dylan & Karl, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

May her gentle soul Rest in Peace.

Margaret’s remains will repose at her son Gerard’s residence on Tuesday evening from 6pm - 9pm and Wednesday from 3pm - 9pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday morning at 11am at The Church of the Sacred Heart, Carrickroe. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
