Patrick Feeley

Barran, Blacklion, Cavan

10th September 1971 - 18th April 2023.

Predeceased by his father Eddie. Deeply regretted by his wife Angela (née Wynne), children Aoibheann, Caoimhe, Fionn, Bláithín and Faoláin, mother Patsy, his brothers Eddie (Denise), Jimmy (Martina), Bernard (Cecelia), Philip, Myles (Bernadette), John Paul (Niamh), parents-in-law Frankie and Moira Wynne, sister-in-law Rosaleen, brothers-in-law Kevin, Colm (Linda), Raymond (Michelle) and extended family.

Malcolm Fenton

Carrickavee, Ballyjamesduff, Cavan

The death has occurred of Malcolm Fenton, Carrickavee, Ballyjamesduff, Co. Cavan and formerly Lancashire, England at St. Vincent's Hospital, Dublin on 19 April 2023.

Predeceased by his parents and his brother Gordon.

Much loved husband of Dolores and much loved Dad of Paul and Helen and cherished Grandfather of Rafe.

Sadly and sorely missed by his wife, children and grandson, his daughter in law Shauna, his son in law Tom, sister in law, brothers in law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friend­s.

Mike Gorman, Thursday April 19th, Peacefully at Cavan General Hospital after a short illness. Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Elizabeth. Brother Peter. Sadly missed by his sisters Ann, Eileen and Brother Tom (Betty), nieces, nephews, neighbours, relatives and friends.

Reposing this Friday evening in Clarke's Funeral Home, Bailieborough from 5pm concluding with family prayers at 8pm. Removal on Saturday morning to Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan arriving via Latsey, Canningstown, Cootehill, at 12 noon for family cremation.

Peter Connolly

Ballybay Road, Carrickmacross, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Peter Connolly. Ballybay Road & former publican, Main Street, Carrickmacross. 20th April 2023. In his 98th year. Peacefully, surrounded by his beloved family, at our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda. Predeceased by his wife Sheila, his infant daughter Teresa, his sister Maureen (McEnaney) and his brothers Phil, Tommy & Pat.

Sadly missed and remembered with love by his cherished family, his daughters Mary (Courtney) & Angela (Bagge, Sweden), his sons-in-law Michael & Robin, his much-loved grandchildren James, Eimear, Michaela, Orlaith, Oisín, Jasmine, Peter & Daniel, his great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives, friends & neighbours.

Peter will repose at Lonergan Funeral Directors Funeral Home, A81 D328, on Friday, 21st April, from 6:30pm until 8:30pm.

Peter's funeral cortège will leave his home, Ballybay Road, on Saturday, 22nd April, driving via Ballybay Road & proceeding on foot via the Shirley Arms Hotel, to St. Joseph's Church, Carrickmacross, arriving for Funeral Mass at 2:30pm followed by burial in St. Joseph's Cemetery.

Peter Geoghegan

Lisduff, Loughmourne, Castleblayney, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Peter Geoghegan, Lisduff, Loughmourne, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan. Wednesday April 19th peacefully at home surrounded by his family. Predeceased by his parents Phil and Mary, sister Margaret in (infancy), brothers Patsy, Gerry and Hughie, brother in-law Michael, sisters in-law Peggy and Mary and nephew Thomas. Peter will be sadly missed and remembered with love his brothers Tom and Phil, sister Bridie, sister in-law Elenor, his many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, cousins, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Peter will repose at his residence (A75TF67) today Thursday from 2pm until 9pm and again tomorrow Friday from 2pm until 9pm. Removal from his residence on Saturday morning at 10:15am driving, to arrive at his home place (Tullynamalroe) and proceeding on foot there after to arrive at The Sacred Heart Church, Lough Egish for Funeral Mass 11am, followed by burial in adjoining cemetery. House private to family on Saturday morning only please.

Marie Hever

Castleblayney, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Marie Hever, Castleblayney, Co. Monaghan, Monday 10th April 2023 peacefully, in the tender care of the staff in The Glencarron Nursing Home, Crossmaglen.

Predeceased by her parents Mary and Francis.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her brother Fr. Tom Hever, Arizona, extended family, neighbours and wide circle of friends.

Reposing at Hughes’ Funeral Premises on Friday 21st April from 4 pm to 6 pm. Requiem mass at 11 am on Saturday morning (22nd April) St. Mary's Church, Castleblayney, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery where Marie will be laid to rest alongside her beloved parents Mary and Francis.

Alma Loughran (née Mallen)

''Arona'' Tirkeenan, Monaghan Town, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Alma Loughran, nee Mallen, "Arona", Tirkeenan, Monaghan, Co. Monaghan, Wednesday, 19th April in her 95th year. Peacefully, at home surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Kevin (Veterinary surgeon), her sisters May, Carmel and Rosemary, her brother Leo and Tony and her son-in-law Kurt.

Cherished and much loved mother of Antionette (Sam), Joan, Jim, Delma, Paul (Liz), Raymond (Siobhan) and Beulah (Paul). Alma will be sadly missed and remembered with love by her daughters, sons, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law, adored grandchildren, great-grandchildren, much loved sister Genievive (Flack), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, friends and by all who knew and loved Alma.

Alma will be resting at the family residence on Friday from 4pm till 9pm, family time at all other times please, with removal on Saturday morning 22nd at 11.45am to St. Macartan’s Cathedral, Monaghan for 12noon Funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in St. Joseph’s New Cemetery, Latlurcan.

The death has occurred of Sheila Smith, Scholarstown, Rathfarnham, Dublin 16 and formerly of Scalkill, Northlands, Magheracloone, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan, unexpectedly at her home, 13th April 2023.

Predeceased by her parents Peter and Catherine Smith and her nephew Garrett. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her brothers and sisters Kathleen O’Brien (USA), Emmet (Magheracloone), Margaret Ostrowski (USA), Edward (USA) (Dawn), Mary Mee (Corduff), Bridie Fitzmaurice (Carrickmacross) (John). Much loved aunt of Michelle, Jennifer, Brendan, Siobhán, Áine, Orlaith, Deirdre, Thomas and Paul. Sadly missed by her grand-nieces and grand-nephews, relatives and a large circle of good friends and neighbours.
