DISCO Fundraiser will help stage Little Shop of Horrors in October
Tullyvin Musical Society are set to bring the retro vibes to their '80s Night annual fundraising event, this Saturday, April 22.
The night will kick off with the greatest hits of the decade from DJ SJC and partygoers can enjoy a full bar, '80s themed cocktail bar, retro arcade gaming, photo-ops, best dressed prizes, and spot prizes and much more! Dust off your shoulder pads and leg warmers, tease your hair, and join in some dancing on the ceiling in a trip back to the 80s! A night not to be missed!!
Tickets €10 are available on gr8events.ie or at the door from 8pm. All support is gratefully appreciated, as all funds raised go directly toward the Annual Musical Production in October.
After the phenomenal sold-out run last year of "The Addams Family", Tullyvin Musical Society will again bring the West End to Tullyvin with a new musical production for 2023, “Little Shop of Horrors", for a five-night run in the Tullyvin Community Centre from Tuesday, October 17 to Saturday, October 21.
“It takes tremendous effort and commitment from all the society members to bring each show from the script to the stage," acknowledges Pamela McCormack, TVMS Chairperson, "but none of this would be possible without the generous support of the community and local businesses.
“Our society has grown in strength and popularity within the locality, and we believe we have much to offer the general community not only by bringing a high calibre musical into a rural area, but we also provide an opportunity for young people within the local community to experience and be involved in musical theatre.
"We are very proud that our society has now grown to include 12 fantastically talented young members all under the age of 25. Please come out and support our fundraiser to help keep the Arts alive in the local area.”
