Philomena Mc Govern

The Irish House, Swanlinbar, Cavan

Philomena Mc Govern, The Irish House, Main Street, Swanlinbar, Co. Cavan, peacefully, at her home. Daughter of the late Bartley and Brigid Mc Govern, sister of the late Joe, Teresa, Cait and Atty. Deeply regretted by her sister Maureen Martin (Swanlinbar), Rosario Gormley (Ballinamore), Daria Dolan (Bundoran), brother Jude (Swanlinbar), nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

MAY PHILOMENA'S GENTLE SOUL REST IN PEACE

Reposing at Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan, Eircode H12 RF78, from 6pm this Monday until 7pm. Philomena's remains will arrive, via Kinawley, to Saint Mary's Church, Swanlinbar, for Mass of the Resurrection at 10.30am on Tuesday, followed by cremation in Lakelands Crematorium Cavan at 12.45pm.

The Mc Govern Family would like to thank you for your cooperation and consideration at this difficult time.

Kathleen Duffy (née McEneaney)

Drumturk, Old Ardee Road, Carrickmacross, Monaghan, A81 YF60

The death has occurred of Kathleen Duffy (née McEneaney), Drumturk, (formerly Duffy’s Shop and Post Office), Old Ardee Road, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan, peacefully in the tender care for Drumlin House, St. Mary’s Hospital, Castleblayney, Sunday, 16th April 2023, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Patrick, infant child Stephen and brother Patrick McEneaney.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her loving family Owen, Pat, Carmel, Bernadette, Mary (Capaldi) and Sharon, son and daughters-in-law and partner: Mary, Frances, James, and Imor, her 14 grandchildren, and her 21 great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

May Her Gentle Soul Rest in Peace

Reposing at her residence at Drumturk, Old Ardee Road, A81 YF60 on Monday afternoon from 2pm until 8pm. Removal on Tuesday morning to arrive at St. Enda’s Church, Killanny for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Donations, if desired, to Drumlin Patient Comfort Fund, St. Mary’s Castleblayney via donation box c/o any family member and/or Deery’s Funeral Directors Carrickmacross.
