Thomas (Tommy) Connolly

'Pine View', Drumelis, Cavan

Thomas (Tommy) Connolly, "Pine View", Drumelis, Cavan, Wednesday, April 12th 2023, peacefully, in the loving care of his family and the wonderful staff in Lisdarn Unit for the elderly, at Cavan General Hospital.

Beloved husband of the late Maureen and father of the late Tommy Jnr and also predeceased by his sisters Maisie and Phyllis (England).

Tommy will be very sadly missed by his heartbroken family, son Brendan (Valerie), daughters Irene (Davy), Corina (J.J), Suzanne (Jeff), sister, Frances Cullen (London), his adored grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, all his extended family, good neighbours and many friends.

May He Rest in Peace.

Reposing at the Mc Mahon Funeral Home, Farnham Rd, Cavan (H12 C821) on Thursday evening from 5pm until 7pm. This will be a walk through only with no handshaking, please. Funeral Mass on Friday morning at 11.30am in the Cathedral of Saints Patrick and Felim, Cavan, followed by burial in Cullies Cemetery. The Funeral Mass will be available to view live on the parish webcam at www.cavantownparish.com/webcam

The Connolly family would like to thank the management and staff at Cavan General Hospital, Lisdarn Unit for the elderly and all Tommy's home carers who cared for him in such a devoted and personal way.

George (Henry) Withey

Kinkeel, Killeshandra, Cavan

George (Henry) Withey, Kinkeel, Killeshandra, County Cavan, 11th April 2023 at Cavan General Hospital. Predeceased by his wife Bridie (McClean) and sadly missed by his nieces, relatives and friends.

Rest in Peace.

Funeral Mass on Friday, 14th April, at 1pm in St. Brigid's Church, Killeshandra followed by burial in adjoining cemetery.

Stan Kelly

4 Lower Millbrook, Clones, Monaghan

The death has occurred of Stan Kelly, No 4 Lower Millbrook, Clones, Co. Monaghan, Wednesday, 12th April. Peacefully, at Castlemanor Nursing Home, Cavan, in the loving care of the staff. Predeceased by his loving wife Mary, sisters Iris, Noreen (Cooke), Pauline and Maida. Cherished and much loved father of John and Adrian. Stan will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his sons, daughter-in-law Mary Brigid, adored grandchildren, Amelia, Laurence, Leo and Rosemary, brothers Brendan (Clones), Tommy (Dublin) and Leo (Bahamas), nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and by all who knew and loved Stan.

Stan will repose at Martin's Family Room, Newbliss (H18C962) on Thursday the 13th from 6pm till 9pm. Stan will be resting at the residents of his son Adrian and daughter-in-law Mary Brigid (H16 A240), to family and close friends on Friday the 14th from 7pm to 9pm, with removal on Saturday afternoon, at approx 1pm to arrive at the Sacred Heart Chapel, Clones for 2pm Funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in the Sacred Heart Cemetery.

Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of her late husband Raymond and devoted mother of Gerard, John, Vari, Mark and Michelle. Very sadly missed by her children, her daughters in law Sharon and Karen and John’s partner Sheena, her adored grandchildren Charlie, Jack, Max, Isaac, Chloe, Kaitlyn, Alex, Jake and Amelia, her sisters Angela and Attracta, brothers in law, nephews, nieces, all her extended family, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at her residence on Thursday (13/04/2023) from 5.30 p.m. until 8.30 p.m. House private at other times, please. Removal on Friday (14/03/2023) at 10.30 a.m. arriving at St. Macartan’s Cathedral, Monaghan, for funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Burial afterwards in St. Joseph’s Old Cemetery, Latlurcan.

Rose Anne Victory, late of Sidcup / London, UK and Broomfield / Scotshouse, Co. Monaghan, died peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Friday, 31st March, 2023 in Sidcup. Predeceased by her beloved husband Michael Victory of Scotshouse, Co. Monaghan.
