Dry with spells of sunshine

Sunday will be a mainly dry day with a mix of cloud and some bright or hazy sunny spells.

“There may be light isolated showers. Highest temperatures of 10 to 12 degrees. Mostly calm conditions, with light southeast winds developing later,” says Met Eireann, who predict driest conditions in the east.

Sunday night then will also remain “mostly clear”, but becoming cloudier in the west and southwest before morning.

Light or moderate southwest winds, fresher winds near some Atlantic coasts.

“A chilly night with lows of 3 to 6 degrees.”

The outlook for the start of the week forecasts the brightest weather in the north and east, especially during Monday morning.

“A mostly dry day for many however there will be some patchy drizzle. Rain will likely turn more persistent along western coasts in the evening.”

Moderate to fresh southerly winds. Highest temperatures of 10 to 13 degrees.
