Minister to launch volunteer hub website

Minister of State Joe O’Brien will launch the new Cavan Volunteer Centre website next week, Tuesday, March 28.

After its official opening in November 2022, Cavan Volunteer Centre revamped its website by making it easier to navigate, more user-friendly and with updated content and improved security. The site features opportunities and inspiring testimonials from local volunteers.

The Green Party TD Junior Minister has special responsibility for Community Development and Charities. He will visit the centre from 10-11:30am.

“It also has a modern layout, featuring stunning photos of scenic spots in Cavan taken by local photographers,” said Vanda Brady. “Links to our social media platforms are also showcased throughout the website, so users can access their preferred tools and instantly share content.”

The newly revamped Cavan Volunteer Centre website (www.volunteercavan.ie) will go live on March 28.
