COVID-19 vaccine clinics continue in Cavan and Monaghan

The HSE continues to offer COVID-19 vaccinations to eligible cohorts in Cavan and Monaghan.

Sinead McConnell, General Manager, COVID-19 Vaccination Programme in this area said: “With many respiratory viruses circulating in the community we are advising people to avail of COVID-19 primary and booster vaccines at their earliest convenience. The HSE recently announced the inclusion of children aged six months to four years in the COVID-19 vaccination programme and we would ask all parents to consider vaccinating their children to prevent serious illness as a result of COVID-19.”

Those aged six months to four years can receive their primary COVID-19 boosters, appointments for which can be made via www.hse.ie

The vaccine is also available to those aged 12 years and over with those aged 12 to 16 years needing to be accompanied by a parent/guardian, at the below times and dates in Cavan and Monaghan.

All people in the 18-49 years age group are eligible for their second COVID-19 booster, provided it is six months since their last vaccine or since they had a COVID-19 infection.
