Elizabeth (Betty) Daly (née Mooney), Dublin Road, Castlepollard, Co. Westmeath and formerly of Pottlebawn, Kilcogy, Co. Cavan, aged 97 years, Tuesday, 14th February, 2023, peacefully at Midland Regional Hospital, Mullingar. Predeceased by her parents James and Molly, husband Maurice, brother Tommy, sisters Peggy, Moya, Kate and Tessie. Sadly missed by her son Alan, grandsons Sam and Nathan and their mother Annette, sister Winnie (U.S.A.), nephews, nieces, cousins, wonderful neighbours and carers and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at Lakelands Funeral Home, Cavan, H12 RF78 on Wednesday morning from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. arriving thereafter to St. Michael's Church, Castlepollard for Funeral Mass at 12 noon followed by cremation in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan at 2 p.m.

Willie Kenny Jnr, Corlislea, Ballinagh and late of Marian Row, Ballinagh, Co Cavan. Who passed away following a tragic accident on 11th. Feb. 2023, in Swords, Co. Dublin. Loving husband of Tammy and dear daddy of Tamzin and William. Loving son of Tina and Willie Kenny. Sadly missed by his brothers and sisters Jacinta (Colin), Annmarie (Brendan), Linda (Terry), Elaine (Herbie), Christina (Kieran), Orlene (Padraig), brothers Tommy (Annmarie), Enda (Christina), father in law Robbie, mother in law Janice, brothers in law, sisters in law, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbours, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Finnegan's Funeral Home and Crematorium, Dublin Road, Cavan, on Wed. evening, 15th February, from 5pm until 8pm. Removal from his late home, Marian Row, on Friday morning to arrive at St. Felim's Church, Ballinagh, for Funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Felim's new cemetery, Crossdoney Road. House for family and close friends only, please.

John Mc Dermott

Drokabawn, Shercock, Cavan, A81 PT35

John Mc Dermott, Drokabawn, Shercock, Co. Cavan. Aged 68 suddenly at Cavan General Hospital. Predeceased by his parents Peter and Catherine, his sister Mena Judge (Tipperary). Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving family his loving wife Margaret, son Peter (Sonja) Daughters Catherine (Barry), Pauline, Susan (Anthony), Mary Claire (Fintan), his cherished grandchildren Katie, Emma, Eoin, James, Ruben, Molly, Vincent, Dennis, Tara, Shane and Dermot, his brother Phil, sisters Margaret, Cathy, Helen, Marie and Josie, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, neighbours, relatives and a large circle of friends.

Reposing at his home Drokabawn (A81 PT35) Thursday 16th February from 12noon to 9pm. Funeral cortege leaving his home Friday 17th at 12 o’clock via Drokabawn Road passing Maudabawn Creamary to arrive at Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan for 1 o’clock cremation service.

Formerly of Killyconny Co. Cavan

Peacefully in his 92nd year at St. Colmcille’s nursing home surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his daughter Kathleen, his parents Catherine and Matthew, brothers John and Terry, and sister Lily.

Sadly missed by his loving wife Julia (Susan), his sons Matthew, Myles (Gráinne), John (Margaret), Hugh (Siobhan), Mark (Geraldine), Gabriel (Antoinette), Kenneth (Joanne), daughters Nichola (Aidan), Valerie (Wesley), sisters Margaret and Catherine (Kitty), sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, 24 adoring grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his son Matthew's home in Pottlebane, Carnaross (A82 AC89) on Wednesday the 15th of February from 4 pm to 8 pm, with removal on Thursday morning to the Church of the Assumption Ballinlough for 12-noon Funeral Mass, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

The death has occurred of Hugh (Hughie) Byrne. Main Street, Louth Village, publican Daniel McNello's, Inniskeen & former publican Hughie Byrne's pub, Louth Village. 14th February 2023. Peacefully, surrounded by his beloved family, at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda.

Sadly missed and remembered with love by his cherished family, his beloved wife Nancy, his son Hughie & his daughters Margaret & Caroline (McArdle), his sons-in-law Michael & Raymond, his much-loved grandchildren Kylie, Christopher & Ciara, his sister Phyllis (Ruddy), his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends

Hughie's funeral cortège will leave his home on Friday, 17th February, proceeding on foot to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Louth Village, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.

Sadly missed and remembered with love by her cherished family, her dearly loved husband Fred, her children Siobhán, Sinéad, Aodhagán & Seán and their spouses Heiko, Elaine & Mairéad, her beloved grandchildren Líanna, Darren, Liam, Owen, Caoimhe, Aoibhean & Conor and her cherished great-grandson Freddy, her brother Frank, relatives & friends.

The death has taken place of Pat Gray, peacefully in the South West Acute Hospital, Tuesday 14th February 2023, Knockatallon, Scotstown, Co. Monaghan, and formerly Finn Park, Roslea and Gortacharn Nursing Home, Lisnaskea.

Predeceased by his brothers Jim and Peter, sisters Lizzie, Ellen, Bridget and Mary-Ann. Beloved brother of Eddie (Kathleen) and Frank (Peggy) and much loved uncle to all his nieces and nephews.
