Isabella Tilson, née Heaslip, beloved wife of the late Robert, Gartnasillagh, Cavan, Thursday, February 2nd, peacefully, in the wonderful care of the staff, of Castlemanor Nursing Home, Cavan. Pre-deceased by her sisters, Ena and Stella and her infant granddaughter Cheryl. Sadly missed by her loving daughters, Irene (Ian), Audrey (Ian), son John (Lavinia), sister Sadie, grandchildren, Irwin (Eimear), Karl, Hope, Peace, Faith, Laura and Andrew, and her great-grandson Andrew, nephews, nieces, relatives and many friends.

Reposing at Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan, today, Friday, from 7.00pm until 9.00pm. Funeral service, tomorrow, Saturday, at 2.00pm in Cavan Parish Church, with burial afterwards in St. Fethlimidh’s Cathedral parish graveyard, Kilmore. Family flowers only, please.

Crotty, Donal, Farnham Road, Cavan and formerly of Cashel, Ballinagh, Co. Cavan, Wed 1st Feb 2023 peacefully at Cavan General Hospital surrounded by his devoted family. Predeceased by his brother Tom, Clontarf, Co. Dublin. Sadly missed by his adoring wife Geraldine, and his treasured family, son's; John, Don and Karol, daughter's; Ann and Lorraine, sons in law Paul and Daniel, daughters in law Julie, Paulette and Melanie, his grandchildren, Karl, Shane, Ciara, Sophia, Renee, Cormac, Aurelia, Donal, Caoimhe, Luis, Alana, Kamryn and Kasey, his sister Ailish, sister in law Ealish, extended relatives and a large circle of neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Mc Mahons Funeral Home, Cavan, Friday 3rd Feb from 4pm to 8pm. Funeral cortege to leave his home on Saturday morning (4th Feb) to arrive at the Cathedral of SS. Patrick and Felim, Cavan (H12 FD71) for requiem mass at 11oc. Burial afterwards in Killygarry Cemetery. House private at all other times please. Family flowers only, donations, if desired, in lieu to the Renal Dialysis Unit, Cavan General Hospital, via the funeral directors.

Died peacefully at Breifne Care Centre, Ballyconnell. Predeceased by his brothers John and Seamus, sisters Nora, Theresa and Mary Rose, Sadly missed by his brother PJ, sister Catherine, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Finnegans Funeral Home and Crematorium, Dublin Road Cavan on Friday evening from 5pm to 6.30pm. Removal to arrive on Saturday morning to the Church of Immaculate Conception, Coronea, for funeral Mass at 11.00am. Burial afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Patricia McCann (née Dowler)

Greystones, Wicklow / Ballybrack, Dublin / Crosskeys, Cavan

Patricia McCann (née Dowler) of Ballybrack, Co. Dublin, Crosskeys, Co. Cavan & Whitehall, Dublin. January 31st 2023, peacefully surrounded by her family, in the loving care of the Palliative Care Unit St. Vincent’s University Hospital, previously in the compassionate & exceptional care of Liz, Pat & their team at Eyrefield Manor Nursing Home, Church Lane, Greystones, Co. Wicklow. Pre-deceased by her husband Hugh, her daughter Elaine & her siblings Gerard, Phyllis & Jacinta. Remembered with love by her children Patricia Jnr, Martina, Hugh, Michelle & Siobhán, brothers Barney, Joseph & Christy, sister Violet, sons-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours & wide circle of friends.

Funeral Mass on Saturday (February 4th) at 1pm in St. Dympna's Church, Lower Lavey, Cavan (H12 W586), after which Patricia will be laid to rest with her husband Hugh in the adjoining cemetery.

The family would like to thank all the staff in the Palliative Care Unit of St. Vincent’s University Hospital & Liz, Pat, Mary & all of the amazing team at Eyrefield Manor Nursing Home for looking after Patricia over the last number of years.

The death has occurred of Michael David Goggin, Barleyhill, Kingscourt, Co. Meath and formerly of Willesden, London, peacefully and surrounded by his family at South West Acute Hospital, Enniskillen, Wednesday, 1st February 2023.

Predeceased by his father Patrick, brothers Liam and Robert. Michael will be sadly missed and remembered with love by his mother Teresa, sisters Denise (Jim), Catherine and Teresa (Patrick), brother Patrick (Helen), his nephews, nieces, grand-nephew, relatives and friends. The family would like to recognise the exceptional care given to Michael whilst in the care of Hillcrest Nursing Home, Omagh and the staff of Ward 9 of South West Acute Hospital, Enniskillen.

The death has occurred of Pat Shannon, Rahans, Magheracloone, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan, peacefully at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, 1st February 2023.

Predeceased by his parents Packie & Eileen, son Fergal, brothers Cormac & Joe, sisters Eileen Marron & Rita Barnes. Deeply regretted by his wife Marie (née McMahon), daughters Paula (Derek), Áine, son Paraic (Siobhán), grandchildren Dara & Conor (Boston), Aisling, Fergal, Tara, Erin, Laoise & Sorcha. Sadly missed by his sisters Kathleen Martin (Corlea), Noreen O’Brien (Nobber), brothers John & Jim (Magheracloone), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
