Margaret Brady, Drumbannon, Bailieborough died 14th December 2022. Predeceased by her husband Sean, sisters Kathleen and Bridget and brother T.P.

Baby Ann Crowe Kelly

Woodlands, Ballyhaise, Cavan

Woodlands, Ballyhaise. Co. Cavan. Baby Ann Crowe Kelly, born sleeping on Tuesday, 13th December 2022, in the loving care of the staff of the Maternity Unit, Our Lady of Lourdes, Drogheda. Baby Ann is sadly missed by her heartbroken parents Kieran and Carmel, brothers Tommy and Derick and sister Rebecca, her grandparents, uncles, aunties and all extended family. Predeceased by her grandad Derick Crowe, and nanny Ann Kelly.

Mass of the Angels on Friday, 16th December 2022, at 1pm in St. Clare's Church, Cavan, with a private burial afterwards.

Hannah Esther Hislop (née Smith)

Coolnacarrig, Ballinagh, Cavan

Hannah Esther Hislop (née Smith), Coolnacarrig, Ballinagh, Co. Cavan, Wednesday 14th December. Peacefully at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her loving husband, Jack. Hannah will be sadly missed by her sons Tom and Harold, daughter Felicity, daughters-in-law Heather and Noreen, son-in-law Andy, her sister Sadie (Boyle), brother-in-law John, sister-in-law Margaret (Smith), grandchildren Farrah, Matthew, Rowan, Jenna, Kirsty, Ian and Sadhbh, and all the family circle, neighbours and friends.

Removal from the family home on Friday afternoon at 2.30 pm to arrive at St Fethlimidh Cathedral, Kilmore at 3.00 pm for funeral service followed by burial in Kilmore Cathedral Parish graveyard. House private to family, neighbours, and friends please.

The day thou gavest, Lord, is ended.

Michael (Micky) Mc Gahern

Cordownan, Arva, Cavan

Michael (Micky) Mc Gahern, Cordownan, Arva, Co. Cavan, Tuesday, December 13th 2022, peacefully at Cavan General Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his wife Kathleen (Kathy), his parents James and Bridget, his brother Sean and his sisters Kathleen and Tess. Michael will be very sadly missed by his loving family, sons, Sean (Wanda), Seamus (Sinead), Kevin (Carole), and Gerard (Sinead), daughter's Collette (Robert), Joan (Paul), Eithne and Annette. Also by his sisters-in law Mary O Brien (New York) and Sally Mc Gahern (UK), brother in law Paddy Reilly (UK), his 13 adored grandchildren, all his relations and many friends.

May he Rest In Peace.

Michael will repose at his home in Cordownan on Thursday. The funeral cortege will leave the house on Friday morning at 11.45am and will travel to the Church of The Immaculate Conception, Coronea, arriving for funeral Mass at 12 noon. Geraldine McLoughlin

Shankill Upper, Cavan / Swinford, Mayo

Geraldine McLoughlin, Shankill Upper, Cavan and formerly of Woods, Midfield, Swinford, Co. Mayo. December 13th 2022, suddenly at home in Shankill, Cavan Predeceased by her parents John and Mary McLoughlin, her sister Mary and Lena Gumley Shankill, Cavan. Geraldine will be very sadly missed and dearly loved by her heartbroken partner Martin Gumley and his children Martin and Pamela and by her brothers Michael, Jim, her twin John, brother Tom, and sister Helen, sisters in law Martina, Nicky and Eilish, brother in law Steve, her nephews and nieces. Deeply regretted by the Gumley family Shankill, Michael Snr., Michael Jun. (Frances) Bernard (Angela) Gerry (Geraldine) Adrian (Samantha) and all the Gumley Family, and by all her relations and many, many friends.

May she rest in peace.

Geraldine will repose at the McMahon Funeral Home, Farnham Road, Cavan (H12 C821) on Thursday evening from 5pm until 8pm. No handshaking please by special request of the family. Removal from the Funeral Home on Friday morning at 10.20am to St. Brigid’s Church Killygarry arriving for Funeral Mass at 11am Via Main St. Cavan. Following Mass, burial will take place in the adjoining cemetery in the Family plot.

John Farrelly

Cabra, Dublin / Clones, Monaghan

Farrelly, John (Naples, Florida and formerly of Clones and Old Cabra Road) – Dec 12, 2022, loving son of the late Philip and Genevieve and brother of the late PJ, Michael, Philip Tiernach and Henry. He will be sadly missed and deeply regretted by his loving wife and companion Helen, sisters Mary Carmel and Philomena, brothers Desmond and Martin, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.

May John Rest In Peace.

John’s funeral will take place in Florida.
