Road reopens following this morning’s crash

Three vehicle crash on N3 north of Butlerbridge.

The N3 has fully reopened to traffic following a multi-vehicle collision just north of the village of Butlerbridge, at the junction for Drumsilla on the N3.

Emergency services including members of An Garda Siochana and the fire services attached to Cavan and Belturbet attended the scene.

One casualty has been reported arising out of the three vehicle collision which included an overturned van.

The injuries sustained were not believed to be life-threatening.

A stop-go traffic system was put in place for a period.
