Diversions in place after N3 road collision

A section of the N3 is now closed to traffic following was is described as a serious road collision.

Emergency Services are at the scene at Billis Bridge. There are no details of injuries at this early stage.

Diversions will be in place for northbound traffic at Virginia, via Ballyjamesduff and New Inns, and for southbound traffic at the Lavey Inn, via Bailieborough and Virginia. The diversion is expected to be in place for a number of hours.
