Revised plans for Ballyhaise homes
Plans have been lodged for permission to alter plans for new homes in Ballyhaise village.
Lisdunvis Construction Limited was granted permission to complete an unfinished estate at Church View in the village last year.
Cavan County Council approved the plans for five, two-storey homes, made up of two semi-detached homes and a block of three townhouses.
Permission was granted subject to conditions in April 2021. The company has now applied for permission to alter the plans for the site.
It aims to reduce the size of the houses from four bed to three bed homes and to change the layout of the development to one made up of four semi-detached, two-storey houses and one detached two storey house.
The original planning permission also included plans to extend the existing service road and develop a new communal garden, carry out landscaping and connect to existing services. No changes to these aspects have been proposed. A decision on the plans is expected from Cavan County Council by mid-September.
