Driver to appear in Court over road offences
Gardaí allege they've broken a number of road laws.
A motorist is to appear in Court after a number of driving offences were detected by Gardaí.
Bailieborough Gardaí were on patrol in the Kingscourt area when they stopped a Volkswagen Passat.
They discovered there was no valid insurance on the vehicle and the driver did not have a driver's licence. There was also no NCT on the car.
A roadside drug test was carried out which returned a positive reading for opiates.
The driver was arrested and the car was seized.
The driver is expected to appear at an upcoming Court sitting.
