Body of missing Gowna man found in Netherlands

A Gowna native, reported missing in the Netherlands, has been found dead.
The body of Edward Reilly (39) from Corfree was discovered in water between Almere and Amsterdam on Friday.
He had been reported missing and his family issued an appeal for help to find him.
Edward was last seen in the centre of Almere Buiten in the Netherlands on February 18. He had been out socialising with friends who said he left a bar after midnight.
Edward had been living in the country for a number of years.
Dutch police launched a missing persons investigation and published photos of Edward on social media.
It is thought he may have decided to walk home after failing to get a taxi.
Edward's sister has travelled to the Netherlands to help in the search.
Edward was the beloved son of Martin and Bernadette, dear brother of Aiden (Mina), Michelle (Gary), Pauline (Duncan) and Lisa (Eoin), Treasured uncle of Nathan, Yvonne and Aibhín.
He is sadly missed by his heartbroken parents, brother, sisters, nieces, nephew, aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends.
