One new Superintendent in Cavan Monaghan Division
An Garda Síochána has confirmed the allocation of one new Superintendent in the Cavan Monaghan Division.
Superintendent Ronan Carey has been appointed to Carrickmacross Garda District. The allocation was one of a number of An Garda Síochána confirmations following allocation of Superintendents that took effect from February 21, 2022 resulting from promotions and consequential allocations.
The following Superintendents are assigned responsibility following promotion: Superintendent Sinead Greene to Garda National Protective Service Bureau; Superintendent Patrick Connell to Bray Garda District; Superintendent Finbarr Philpott to Strategic Transformation Office; Superintendent Ronan Carey to Carrickmacross Garda District; and Superintendent David Kennedy to Raheny Garda District.
An Garda Síochána also announced a number of Superintendents assigned responsibility on transfer. They are: Superintendent Darren McCarthy to Ballymun Garda District; Superintendent Sorcha Fitzpatrick to Special Tactics and Operations Command (STOC); Superintendent David Nolan to Mullingar Garda District; Superintendent Michelle Baker to Athlone Garda District; Superintendent Patrick O'Shea to Loughrea Community Engagement (Operational Policing Model); Superintendent Gareth Walsh to Ballina Garda District; and Superintendent Jarlath Duffy to New Ross Garda District (February 5, 2022 on repatriation from UN Cyprus Mission)
