Barney Burns
Tomkin Road, Belturbet, Cavan
Barney Burns, Tomkin Road, Belturbet, Co. Cavan 16th December 2021. Peacefully in the loving care of his family and the staff of Cavan General Hospital. Predeceased by his wife Bridie. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving family, son Bernard, daughters Brigid and Moira, his partner Maudie, sons-in-law Padraig and Gerry, grandchildren, great grandchildren, his carers Deirdre, Phyllis and Patricia, nephews, nieces relatives, neighbours and friends.
Rest in Peace.
Remains will be reposing at Lawlors Funeral Home, Ernehill, Belturbet H14 R583 Friday evening 17th December from 6pm to 8pm. Removal from his residence on Saturday morning 18th December at 10.20am to arrive at St. Patrick’s Church, Milltown for 11 o’clock funeral mass with burial afterwards in Drumlane cemetery.

Evelyn CASSIDY (née Brady)
Churchtown, Dublin / Kilcogy, Cavan
Late of Churchtown, Dublin 14, formerly of Dundevan, Kilcogy, Co. Cavan. 15 December 2021, peacefully in her 99th year, in the wonderful care of all the staff at the Marlay Nursing Home. Beloved wife of the late Tony, and loving mother of John, Kevin and Ciarán. Sadly missed by her sons, daughters-in-law Gemma, Denise, and Ann, grandchildren Gavin, Justin, Daire, Ciara, Conor, Aoife and Eoin, and great-grandchildren, Daisy and Archie. Fondly remembered by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Funeral mass at 11a.m. on Saturday, 18 December, in the Church of the Holy Cross Dundrum, Dublin 14, followed by burial in St. Patrick’s Rock Chapel Cemetery, Magheracloone, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan (A81 KD82), arriving at 2:15p.m. approximately.

The death has occurred of Margaret (Monty) Farrelly, Drumina, Virginia, Co. Cavan on December 16, 2021, peacefully at her residence.
Predeceased by her husband Hugh Joe and her sister Babs.
Much loved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, neighbour and friend.
Monty will be very sadly missed by her sons and daughters; Thomas, Dessie, Dolores, Gary and Gloria, her sister Anne Falvey (Bantry), her brothers Owen (Oldcastle) and Mattie (Trim), her daughters in law Anne, Nuala and Helen and her son in law Gerry, her adored grandchildren Emma Jane, Niall, Dylan, Lauren, Leah, Grace, Blathnaid and Sorcha, Kate, her nieces, nephews, neighbours, friends and ex work colleagues in St. Joseph’s Nursing Home.

Reposing at Matthews Funeral Home (A82YV58) on Saturday evening from 4 o'clock until prayers at 8 o'clock.
Removal on Sunday, via Dunancory Bridge, to arrive at St. Patrick’s Church Lurgan for Funeral Mass at 3.30 o’clock, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
In compliance with the current HSE guidelines, and to ensure the safety of all, please adhere to all public health advice.

December 15th, 2021 (Peacefully) at her home in the loving care of her family. Sadly missed and remembered with love by her husband Paddy, sons Patrick, Tom and Paul, brothers Oliver and Pius, sisters Etta (Farrell), Chrissie (Clarke), Patsy (Murdock) and Mena (Giblin), grandchildren Niamh, Tomás, Clíodhna, Patrick, Mary Ann, Martha, Fionnán and Kate, daughters-in-law Caroline, Frances and Claire, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Lily will repose in The Sharkey Funeral Home, Ballaghaderreen on Friday from 6pm until 8pm. Removal from her home on Saturday to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Fairymount arriving for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am, followed by interment in Fairymount (new) Cemetery.
In light of the ongoing dangers associated with Covid 19, it is respectfully requested that all those attending the funeral would adhere to social distancing guidelines, wear a face mask and avoid shaking hands.

Lovingly remembered by his loving wife Margaret & Jaimi Leigh.
