Public meeting to highlight antisocial behaviour
Organisers hope to establish an Action Plan to tackle such issues going forward.
A public meeting will be held in Ballybay this weekend to highlight issues regarding alleged antisocial behaviour in the Monaghan town.
The meeting will take place at the Mart Road, beside the Town Park, at 5pm on Saturday, August 28.
Representatives of all businesses are actively being encouraged to attend the meet, to which local representatives have also been invited to hear and address local concern.
Its understood the movement has been prompted by a rise in alleged antisocial behaviour, and also drug use, in the local area in recent months.
Organisers hope to establish an Action Plan to tackle such issues going forward.
Those attending are being reminded to socially distance from each other.
