Heritage week history talk

A history on the first president of St Patrick’s College, Cavan, will be given this evening (Thursday, August 19) at 7.30pm as part of the abundance of offerings across the county for Heritage Week.

The lecture marks the 150th Anniversary of the laying of the foundation stone of the College on May 23, 1871.

Monsignor Liam Kelly will give the Zoom presentation on “The First President of St. Patrick’s College, Cavan, Dr. Bernard Finegan (1837-1887)”.
