It is with regret that we note the deaths in our community over the past few days, as reported on RIP.ie
Connie Mac Gabhann (née Lynch)
Kilmacud, Dublin / Killinkere, Cavan
The death has occurred of Connie Mac Gabhann (née Lynch) of Kilmacud, Dublin and Killinkere and Virginia, Co. Cavan, on July 6th 2021, peacefully, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her sisters Celine and Terry and brothers Miceál, Malachy, Niall and Justin Lynch. Beloved wife of Gearóid and mother of Gráinne, Gearóid, Lorcán and Bróna. Sadly missed by her brothers PD and Talbot, sons-in-law Michael and Niall, daughters-in-law Maria and Jacqueline, 14 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Also mourned by her many nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Rest in Peace.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the church of St Laurence O’Toole, Kilmacud at 11am on Thursday, July 8th 2021. Burial afterwards in Shanganagh Cemetery.

Anne Mc Cabe (née Brady)
Dunancory, Virginia, Cavan
The death has occurred of Anne Mc Cabe (nee Brady), Dunancory , Virginia, Co. Cavan, on 7 July 2021, surrounded by her loving family, at Lisdarn Unit, Cavan, following an illness borne with great strength and dignity.
Predeceased by her brother P.J., her partner Jim, her mother Mary and her father John Joe.
Loved and deeply missed by her children, Louise, Jonathan and Lisa and her adored grandsons Jace and Joey. Deeply regretted by her loving son, daughters, her grandchildren, her sons in law David and Adriel, her daughter in law Sarah, her sister in law Ann, her nieces Ciara and Caitlin, her nephew Sean, her cousins, her aunts and uncle, her godchildren, relatives, neighbours and her very close friends.
Rest In Peace.
Remains reposing at Matthews' Funeral Home on Thursday from 4 o’clock until 8 o’clock. Removal on Saturday morning from her residence to St. Patrick's Church, Lurgan, arriving for 11o'clock Funeral Mass, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. House private to family and close friends only. Family flowers only, please. Donations in lieu, if desired, to Virginia Cancer Care Fund and / or Cavan Palliative Care.
Due to Government & HSE guidelines, the funeral will be restricted to family and close friends, maximum of 50. Please ensure social distancing at all times.

Sadie Reilly (née Walsh)
26 Glenview Drive, Killygoan, Monaghan Town, Monaghan
The death has occurred of Sadie Reilly nee Walsh, 26 Glenview Drive, Killygoan, Monaghan, Wednesday 7th July, peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. Pre-deceased by her husband Paddy. Deeply regretted and missed by her daughters Evelyn, Jacinta & Deirdre, son in law George, grandchildren Tara, Daniel, Jason, Jake, Jamie, Ryan, Adam & Kelly, great grandchildren Harley & Heidi, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
May her gentle soul Rest in Peace.
Sadie's remains will repose at her residence until removal on Saturday morning (via Glen Road) to arrive at St. Macartan's Cathedral, Monaghan, for 11am funeral Mass (limited to 50 family/friends only); https://www.mcnmedia.tv/camera/st-macartans-cathedral-monaghan. Burial afterwards in St. Joseph's old cemetery, Latlurcan.
House private, please. If you wish to pay your respects to the family, you are welcome to do so as Sadie's funeral cortège travels to the church on Saturday morning (please adhere to social distancing guidelines).
