Elizabeth (Betty) McCabe (nee McGrath) Main St Ballypooreen Co Tipperary and formerly Anne St Bailieborough Co Cavan. Died 26/1/2021 peacefully at South Tipperary General Hospital.

Predeceased by her husband Johnnie.

Deeply regretted by her loving children Mary, Sean, Eilleen, Michelle and Tracey, sisters Rosie and Peggy (London), grandchildren, great grandchildren, son in law, daughter in law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Due to current government guidelines Betty's funeral will be private to family only.

Betty's funeral procession will leave Clarke's Funeral Home, Thursday morning at 10.40am to arrive at St Anne's Church, Bailieborough for funeral Mass at 11am with burial afterwards in St Brigid's Cemetery, Knockbride West (Tunnyduff) via Ardmone.

Please adhere to social distancing guidelines for those standing along the funeral procession.

Sarah O'Callaghan - Smith

Aughaloora, Bruskey, Cavan

Sarah O'Callaghan - Smith, Bruskey /Aughaloora, Co. Cavan, Tuesday January 26th 2021, after a long illness, in the loving care of her family.

Sadly missed by her husband Gary & her beautiful daughter Amelia, her heartbroken parents Karl & Iris brother Karl, sister-in-law Nicola, grandparents Angela & James O'Callaghan, uncles, aunts, all her relatives & many friends.

Due to current Government & HSE restrictions, Sarah's Funeral Service & Cremation will be private to family only.

Sarah's remains will leave the family home at 3.15pm tomorrow (Wednesday), travelling via her home in Bruskey and on to Lakelands Crematorium for cremation at 4pm.

Those who wish to pay their respects by standing along the route are asked to observe social distancing guidelines.

Sarah's family would like to thank you all for your cooperation & understanding at this difficult time.

Monday 25th January peacefully in the South West Acute Hospital. Beloved mother to Mary (Jim), John (Grainne) and Michael (Nuala).

Predeceased by her husband Mick.

Reposing at her home until removal on Wednesday morning at 10.15am, to arrive at St. Macartan's Church, Aghadrumsee for 11.00am Funeral Mass.

Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

In accordance with Diocesan and NHS guidance in respect of the Covid 19 virus Annie's wake, funeral and burial will be restricted to family members only.

William Robert Talbot, 189 Cavan Road, Annaghmore, Newtownbutler, Co. Fermanagh, 25th January 2021, peacefully at his home surrounded by his family.

Dearly beloved by his wife Stella and children Adrian, Eleanor, Ivor and Joy and his grandchildren James, Rowan, Charlie, Arthur, Ellen, Chloe, Heath and Bertie and by his sister Ruth McCoy and her family.

Mae McNaboe, Drumury, Moyne, Co. Longford, Monday 25th January, peacefully at Padre Pio Ward, St. Joseph’s Care Centre, Longford.

Deeply regretted by her nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

Funeral Mass in St. Francis’ Church, Moyne on Wednesday at 12 noon with burial immediately afterwards in adjoining cemetery.

Moira Hickey (née McKenna)

Drumgill, Drumconrath, Meath

Moira Hickey née McKenna, Drumgill, Drumconrath, Co. Meath. 24th January 2021 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda.

Moira predeceased by her husband Phil, will be sadly missed by her sister Ann, brother-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

A private Funeral Mass and burial will take place for family (limit of 10) on Wednesday, 27th at 11am in Sts. Peter & Paul's Church, Drumconrath.

Moira's cortége will travel from Finlay's Funeral Home, Tierney Street, Ardee on Tuesday, 26th at 6:30pm en route to Sts. Peter & Paul's Church, Drumconrath for those who wish to show their respects along the route in a safe and socially distanced manner.

May Caffrey

Suffolk Street, Kells, Meath

The death has occurred peacefully of May Caffrey, Suffolk Street, Kells, retired shop retailer (Cannon St) at her residence in the loving care of her devoted sister Philo.

May's remains will be removed from her residence on Tuesday, 26th January, at 4.30pm and her funeral cortege will travel via Suffolk Street, Farrell St., Cross St., John St. to arrive at St. Colmcille's Church at 5pm.

May was predeceased by her parents and her brother Benny, and is survived by her devoted and loving sister Philo, relatives and friends.

May will be fondly remembered far and wide for her many years in business in Cannon Street, her shop was a landmark for many, many years, May was a life long member of The Pioneer Association and served as council treasurer for many years.

She was a loyal GAA fan and supported the royal county both in football and hurling at all levels, she herself played badminton, and camogie for many years. Her greatest love in life was her pet dogs.
