Miriam Concepta Arnold
Main Street, Virginia, Cavan / Kells, Meath
The death has occurred of Miriam Concepta Arnold (MPSI), Main Street, Virginia, Co. Cavan and Climber Hall, Kells, peacefully at St. Josephs Nursing Home, Virginia, 23 January 2021, in her 96th year. Deeply regretted by her nieces and nephews and friends.
Remains leaving Matthews Funeral Home on Monday, arriving at Mary Immaculate Church, Virginia for 11 o’clock Funeral Mass with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
In compliance with current Covid 19 guidelines, Miriam's Funeral Mass will be restricted to 10 only. Miriam's Funeral Mass will be livestreamed on churchtv.ie/cavan and scroll to Virginia.
Miriam's friends and neighbours are invited to form a guard of honour, if they so wish to, along the route of the funeral cortege from Matthews Funeral Home to St. Mary's as a mark of respect.
Special thanks is extended to the staff and management of St. Joseph's Nursing Home, Virginia for the exceptional and dedicated care shown to Miriam.
Anna Reilly

Saturday 23rd January 2021 peacefully in the loving care of St Joseph’s nursing home, Virginia. Predeceased by her brothers Packie, Jim & Eddie.
Anna will be sadly missed by her loving family, sisters, Kay, Josie & Rosetta, her brothers Hugh & John, sisters-in-law Kathleen & Mona, brothers-in-law Tony & Andy, nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grandnephews & great grandnephew, all her extended family, friends & neighbours.
Arriving to St. Mary’s Church, Ballinarry on Monday 25th for Funeral Mass at 12 noon followed by burial in adjoining cemetery.
Due to the current H.S.E. and Government Covid-19 guidelines, the Funeral Mass will be limited to 10 people. The family thank you for your cooperation at this sad time.
Funeral cortege will travel via Bruskey and Clonoose passing Anna's home on route to St Mary’s Church Ballinarry on Monday for anybody who wishes to stand along the route as a mark of respect.
Margaret (May) Stephens (née Hartley)
Lisnageer, Cootehill, Cavan / Monaghan
Peacefully, on Saturday, 23rd January 2021, in the loving care of the staff in the Dromore Unit, St. Mary's Hospital, Castleblayney.
Pre-deceased by her beloved husband Isaac.
May will be dearly missed by her loving family, daughters Ruby, Grace and Avril, son-in-law Samuel (Armstrong), her adored grandchildren Ashley and Louisa, niece Cleona and the entire family circle.
Resting at the home of her daughter Avril and son-in-law Samuel, Tullycaghney, Castleblayney, until removal on Monday, 25th January, at 1pm, for funeral service in Ashfield Parish Church, Cootehill, at 2pm.
Interment afterwards in the adjoining churchyard. May's funeral cortège will travel via Castleblayney, Ballybay and Cootehill.
Due to the current Covid restrictions, the house and funeral are strictly private, please.

Peacefully at the Sunset Lodge, St Joseph’s Care Home Longford.
Pre-deceased by her husband Sonny.

Removal to St. Mary’s Church, Legga on Monday via Cornakelly arriving for 12 o'clock Funeral Mass, burial afterwards in Tubberpatrick Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Michael Finnegan, Beaufort Nursing Home, Navan and formerly of Ranevogue, Crossakiel, Kells, Co. Meath, peacefully in the tender care of the wonderful staff in Beaufort House Nursing Home, Navan on Saturday, 23rd January 2021.
Preceded in death by his daughter Michelle, sadly missed by his children John, Siobhan, Colette, Catherine, Helen, Barry, Alan and Kenneth, his sisters Breda, Mary and Ann, his grandchildren, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law and his very dear close friend Mary Colgan and her family.
A private funeral will take place in Ballinlough Church, Kells followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
Patrick (Paddy) Murchan

Murchan, Patrick (Paddy), 23rd January 2021, Shancarnan, Moynalty, Kells. Peacefully at his residence.
Predeceased by his parents Michael and Elizabeth and his brothers Tom and Fr. Michael.
Sadly missed by his loving wife Maureen, sons Michael, John, Peter, Damian and Louis, sister Mary, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, nieces, nephew, relatives and friends.
Paddy's funeral cortege will travel from his residence for a private funeral Mass in The Church of the Assumption, Moynalty on Monday at 12 o'clock.
Burial afterwards in Moynalty Cemetery. Friends and neighbours are welcome to line the route from the house to the church to pay their respects.

The death has occurred of George Hill, Cavanageeragh, Donogue, Carrickmacross, Co.Monaghan.
Saturday January 23rd, peacefully at The Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda.
George, pre-deceased by his daughters Gillian and Linda.
Deeply regretted and remembered with love by his wife Jill and so sadly missed by his family, Richard (& Anne), Valerie (& Neville), Jennifer (& Derek), Alan (& Rachel), Jackie (& Daire) and Emma (& Pauric) his 19 cherished grandchildren and his great-grandson George, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and many friends.
George’s funeral cortège will travel from his home on Monday afternoon at 1:30pm, to arrive at St. Finbarr's Church Of Ireland, Carrickmacross for funeral service at 2pm followed by burial in “Gods Acre” Grave Yard, Dundalk Rd, Carrickmacross, via O’Neill Street.
Funeral service will be live streamed on Carrickmacross Group Church Of Ireland, Facebook Page.
