Sadie McGowan,(nee McGuinness) Butlersbridge, Co. Cavan. Beloved wife of the late Philip McGowan and devoted mother of Gerard and Sean, Thursday, December 3rd, 2020, peacefully, in the loving care of her family and the staff at Cavan Ganeral Hospital, in her 92nd year. Sadie will be sadly missed by her loving sons, daughters in law Hilary and Bernie, her adored grandchildren Áine and Conor, sister Helen and sister in law Sheila, England, nieces, nephews, all her relatives and many friends.

Due to current restrictions, Sadie's funeral Mass and burial will be private to family members only and restricted to 25 people. Those who cannot attend the funeral due to restrictions, are invited to pay their respects to Sadie by standing silently along the route and in Butlersbridge Village and please keep 2 metres apart and wear face covering. Sadie's funeral will arrive to St. Aidan’s Church, Butlersbridge, on Saturday morning for Funeral Mass at 11am, followed by burial in the family plot in St. Aidan’s Cemetery.

Gabriel Haughton BL

Broomfield Hall, Shankill, Dublin / Mullagh, Cavan / Wicklow Town, Wicklow

Haughton Gabriel BL, Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family in his 87th year at the home of his daughter and son in-law, Gabrielle and Keith Tracey, Rosehill Lane, Rosehill, Mullagh, Co. Cavan. Predeceased by his beloved wives, Maeve (nee O'Toole) and Susan (nee Lewis), sister Marie and son-in-law Rory. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his cherished children, Karen, Mark, Carl, Nicola, Gabrielle, Peter and Pippa, his siblings, Bernadette, Maeve, Brendan, David, Gerard and Jim. Adored Poppa to his 13 grandchildren, mother-in-law Merle, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives, and many friends.

Reposing PRIVATELY for family and close friends at his daughter's home, Rosehill Lane, Rosehill, Mullagh. Private family Funeral Service and cremation on Saturday next, 5th December, at 2pm in Lakelands Crematorium, Dublin Road, Cavan.

Given the current exceptional circumstances and to protect the welfare of everyone dear to Gabriel his reposing, funeral service and cremation will be private to family only. Gabriel's family thank you all for your cooperation, understanding and support during this sensitive time.

Jim McElgunn, 34 Holborn Hill, Belturbet, Co. Cavan Thursday 3rd December, peacefully in his 86th year in the loving care of his family and kind staff of Cavan General Hospital. Beloved soul mate of Mary, darling father of Marty, Mari, Noelle (RIP), Joanne, Colette and Lorraine, adored grandfather of Oran, Caolan, Darragh, Finian, Eve, Jobhi, Conor, Senan and Noelani, sons in law Ivan, Cormac, John Tony and Gearoid and daughter in law Alice. Brothers Sean and Liam, sisters Bridie, Eileen and Rosaleen, nephews, nieces and friends. A loving, kind, gentle soul.

Remains will be leaving the residence of his daughter Lorraine Teevan at 1 Willow Ridge, Oldtown, Cavan H12 DV24 on Saturday 5th December at 12.15pm via the old Belturbet road to arrive at the Church of the Immaculate Conception for 1pm funeral Mass with burial afterwards in St. Aiden’s cemetery, Butlersbridge. Frank passed away, peacefully, at College View Nursing Home, Cavan, in the loving care his family and nursing staff. Predeceased by his parents Patrick and Margaret, brothers Patsy and Charlie, sister Winnie. Deeply regretted by his sisters Margaret and Rosaleen, nieces,nephews, brother in law Hugh relatives and friends.

Madge Sanderson (née Bray)

The death has occurred of Madge Sanderson (nee Bray), Accrington, Lancashire and late of Carnin, Ballyjamesduff, Cavan.

A little lady with a big heart.

Madge passed away peacefully at home on December 2, just days before her 100th birthday on December 8. Predeceased by Her loving husband Ted, sisters, May, Sue and Bridie, brothers Lou and Andy. She will be sadly missed by her extended family and friends.

Madge will be laid to rest with Ted in Lancashire.

The death has occurred of Henry Owen Boylan, Knockcor, Tydavnet, Co. Monaghan and formerly St.Dympna's Terrace, Scotstown. Tuesday 1st of December, peacefully, at Beaumont Hospital, Dublin, surrounded by his loving family.

Pre-deceased by his loving wife Kathleen, brothers Jimmy & Mick, brothers in law and nephews.

Predeceased by his wife Janice and son of the Michael and Kathleen Brady and brother of the late Liam and Kathy Fahlbeck.
