Wet and windy weather
Wet and windy this morning with heavy rain at times and a risk of flooding, warn Met Éireann for Ulster. Rain will persist through the day with further heavy falls at times. Mild and humid with highest temperatures of 13 or 14 degrees in fresh to strong and gusty south to southwest winds with high seas along Atlantic coasts.
Rain, heavy at times, early in the night will gradually break up and become mostly dry by morning. Mild to start but turning cooler overnight with lowest temperatures of 6 to 8 degrees in fresh to strong and gusty southwest winds veering westerly and easing moderate to fresh overnight.

Friday will be mostly dry with sunny spells developing and just the risk of an isolated shower. Highest afternoon temperatures of just 8 to 10 degrees in light to moderate westerly or variable breezes.
