Mullahoran girl to represent cavan in miss ireland

The vivacious Amanda Brady (22) from Kilsarn in Mullahoran who is the current Miss Cavan will take to the stage in the Crown Plaza Hotel in Santry tonight (Friday), together with contestants from all over the county, to see who will be crowned Miss Ireland for 2015.

The beauty student at Cavan Institute who also works part time in the restaurant in the Hotel Kilmore, Cavan, was chosen as Miss Cavan on July 22 in the Lakeside Manor in Virginia.

The daughter of Abby and John Joe Brady, Amanda told The Anglo-Celt that she is really looking forward to this exciting experience and all the family will be supporting her at the contest.
Amanda has three sisters Yvonne, Margaret and Aine and one brother, Sean Óg and did a lot of Irish dancing when she was younger.
A judging panel consisting of seven people including former Miss Irelands Amanda Brunker and Aoife Walsh will crowd Miss Ireland at the gala event. The doors of the venue open at 6pm for a drinks reception and a meet and greet and the contest is scheduled to commence at 6pm.
