The death has occurred of Mary Ellen (Eileen) Jhugroo (nee Smith) of Battersea, London and late Crossmakeelan, Shercock, Co. Cavan. Deeply regretted by her loving husband Remy, daughters Davina & Natasha, grandchildren Mary, Mia and Josh, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends. Private funeral service will take place in London this Monday at 1.15pm. A memorial Mass will take place in St Anne’s Church, Bailieborough, at a later date.

Thomas Mullen, 46 John Paul Avenue, Cavan, Friday, May 15th 2020, suddenly. Predeceased by his loving sister Mandy. Sadly missed by his twin sister Megan, his heartbroken mother Maggie and his father Eamon, his sisters Sonya and Jamie, brothers Darren, Paul and Philip, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, his girlfriend Nicole, his best friend Ciarán and his many other good friends.
Owing to government restrictions, the wake, funeral and burial will be private to close family only, please. The Mullen Family appreciate your support, understanding and cooperation at this very painful time for them. The life of Thomas will be remembered with the celebration of Holy Mass when conditions change.

Anna O'Sullivan (née O'Reilly)
Leixlip, Kildare / Tralee, Kerry / Cavan
O’SULLIVAN (née O’Reilly), (Leixlip, Co. Kildare and formerly of Tralee, Cavan and Maynooth Lodge Nursing Home) May 15th 2020 (peacefully) at Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown, in her 100th year. Anna (Born 1st November 1920), beloved wife of the late Michael (O’Sullivan), much loved mother of Josephine and Jacqueline, a devoted grandmother to Fiona, Rory, Kevin, John, Kieran and Caroline and great-grandmother to Layla. Sadly missed by her loving daughters, grandchildren, great-granddaughter, sons-in-law Peter and Tommy, grandson-in-law Neil, granddaughter-in-law Orla, brother Tony, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, cousins, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

A private funeral will take place due to government advice regarding public gatherings. When the current circumstances have passed we look forward to celebrating Anna’s life with friends and extended family at a later date. Anna’s funeral cortège will pass by her house at approximately 9.30am on Tuesday (May 19th) for anyone who may wish to pay their respects. Eugene’s funeral cortège will travel from his residence on Tuesday morning at 10:45am (driving via Main Street) to St Joseph’s Church Carrickmacross for a private Funeral Mass, in keeping with Government and HSE guidelines on public gatherings, followed by burial in St Joseph's Cemetery, Carrickmacross.

McCaughey Thomas (Trillick, Co. Tyrone) formerly of 9 Effernan Road, died peacefully, in the Millcroft Care Home, surrounded by his loving family on Sunday 17th May 2020. Beloved husband of Moira nee O’Donnell, devoted father to Dominic, Thomas, Noelle Mc Nulty, Damian, Fr Shane, Cormac and the late Siobhan McQuaid and Nuala. Brother to the late Fr Hugh and William.
Thomas’s requiem Mass will take place at 11am on Tuesday 19th May in St MacCartan’s Church, Trillick, followed by his burial in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only. In light of the Coronavirus virus and in the interests of health and safety within the community, the funeral will be strictly private. Alternatively, the funeral Mass can be viewed via McAtee Funeral Directors facebook page. Deeply regretted by his loving wife, daughter, sons, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nephew, grandchildren, great grandchildren and entire family circle.
