Cavan town tops the countys tidy towns

Cavan Town is the cleanest town in the county, according to figures released this lunchtime by Tidy Towns Ireland.
The county town, which finishes top for the sixth consecutive year, hit a grand total of 294 out of 450 and received its best mark in the landscaping and open spaces category of 44 from a possible 50. Kilkenny was the overall winner with a total of 320 out of 450.
