Two in court in connection with €21K cannabis seizure near Cootehill

Two men appeared before a sitting of Monaghan District Court today (Tuesday), November 19, charged in connection with the discovery of approximately €21,000 euro worth of cannabis at a house near Cootehill.
Gardaí carried out a search at the house in the Clementstown area shortly after lunchtime on Monday last, November 18.
A statement from An Garda Siochána confirmed details of the find: 'Gardaí carried out a search at a house in the Clementstown area of Cootehill on 18/11/19 at approximately 2:30pm. A large number of cannabis plants (pending analysis) with a value of approximately €21,000 were discovered and seized.”
Two men aged in their 20s were arrested at the scene and subsequently charged in connection with the find.
