Cavan to discover back door opponents
Cavan will find out who they will face in the first round of the qualifiers within the hour with potentially very difficult opponents facing Mattie McGleenan's side.
Last year's All Ireland finalists Mayo and the reigning Ulster champions Tyrone find themselves fighting for their championship lives through the back door system. Having been surprisingly dumped out of the Leinster Championship by Carlow yesterday, Kildare could pose another banana skin. Likewise neighbnours Meath (beaten by Longford) and Westmeath (beaten by Laois) would offer a testing challenge.
The draw will be made by Colm Gooch Cooper on RTE Radio 1 at around 8.35am.
The first team drawn will have home advantage, unless a Division 3 or 4 team are drawn against a Division 1 or 2 team, in which case the lower ranked team will have home field advantage.
The complete list of times in the hat are: Mayo, Tyrone, Cavan, Armagh, Limerick, Waterford, Louth, Offaly, Wexford, London, Antrim, Derry, Westmeath, Wicklow, Meath and Kildare.
All matches will be held on Saturday, June 9.
