Peter Donlon

The death has occurred of Peter Donlon, Swellan, Cavan and Whitehall, Dublin, March 5, peacefully, in the wonderful care of the staff of Castlemanor Nursing Home, Cavan. Beloved husband of the late Claire (nee Murphy) and dear father of Padraic, Eamonn and Colm. Sadly missed by his loving sons, daughters in law, Aoife and Josephine, son in law Brendan, his adored grandsons Conor and Niall, brother in law, sisters in law nephews, nieces relatives and friends.

Reposing at Lakelands Funeral Home, Dublin Road, Cavan, today (Friday) from 4.00pm until 7.00pm. Removal from Lakelands Funeral Home on Saturday at 1.30pm to the Cathedral of SS Patrick and Felim, Cavan, to arrive for Requiem Mass at 2.00pm, interment afterwards in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Rockcorry.

 

Kitty Carroll

The death has occurred of Kitty Carroll (nee Clarke) March 5, 2020, peacefully, at Cavan General Hospital. Surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Patrick, and son Andrew. Sadly missed by her sons, Michael, Brendan, Aidan and Martin, daughters Mary, Rose, Kathleen, Geraldine and Eileen, brothers, Dan and Paddy, sisters Rose, Mary and Bridgie, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at her residence, A82XY19, today (Friday), from 5pm to 10pm and Saturday from 5pm to 10pm. Family time, at all other times, please. Removal on Sunday morning to St Brigid's Church, Knockbride West, arriving at 12 noon for funeral Mass and burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

 

James (Jim) Mortimer

James (Jim) Mortimer, Bexcourt and formerly Lisnalee, Bailieborough, Co Cavan, died March 5, 2020, peacefully, at Cavan General Hospital. Predeceased by his son Barry. Deeply regretted by his loving family; children Debbie, Melanie, Paddy and Kevin and their mother Margaret, sisters Kathleen and Phyllis, sons in law Donald and Martin, daughter in law Roseanne, grandchildren Sean, Aaron, Connor, Orlaith, Ciara, Niamh and Oliver, brother in law, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Reposing at Clarke’s Funeral Home, Baileborough, Saturday evening, from 3pm to 8pm. Removal Sunday to arrive at St Anne’s Church, Bailieborough, for funeral Mass at 10am with burial afterwards in St Anne’s Cemetery. Family flowers only, please, donations in lieu, if desired, to The Stoke Unit, Cavan General Hospital, c/o Clarke's Funeral Home, Bailieborough. House private, please.
