Missing Cavan teen found safe

 

Gardai have thanked the public for their assistance in attempting to trace the whereabouts of a teenager reported missing and last seen in the Cavan area earlier this week.

An Garda Siochana had issued a statement at around lunchtime today seeking the public’s assistance in finding Reece Murphy (17) who was last seen in the Ballyjamesduff area late afternoon on Wednesday, November 20.

Described as being 6 foot in height, of slim build with black hair, when last seen Reece was wearing grey tracksuit bottoms, a bright blue hoody, black runners and black stud earrings.

However, gardai have now issued an updated statement, notifying that Reece has been “located safe and well”.

The added: “An Garda Síochána would like to thank the public for their assistance in this matter.”
