GAA: Waterford beat Clare, Cork overpower Tipperary in Munster

Waterford have handed Clare their first Munster Hurling Championship loss of the season.
The Deise scored a goal in either half to hand the All-Ireland champions a 2-23 to 0-21 defeat at Walsh Park.
Cork strolled to a first Munster Senior Hurling win of the year this evening.
Tipp played the majority of the game a man down after an early red card for Darragh McCarthy.
Patrick Horgan, Tim O'Mahony and Alan Connolly scored goals as the Rebels led by 3-13 to 0-12 at half time.

The final score was Cork 4-27, Tipperary 0-24.
