Live auction at Smith Property
A mix of residential, commercial, and two non-residential farms are set to go under the hammer next month with Smith Property.
The May 1 auction features five offerings set to go under the digital hammer from 10am.
Auction Raymond Smith says the lots on offer reflect "the broad appeal" of the firm's auction platform.
“The growing popularity of our auctions is underscored by strong media coverage across newspapers and social platforms, showcasing the impressive results and transparency of this sales method,” he continued before pointing to a number of “key” outcomes from the March event.
“Seven properties were listed with 100% success rate - all were sold - and the average sale price above AMV [advised minimum value] was 54.5%. There were 27 registered bidders with 69 bids placed and all contracts became legally binding on the day.”
Mr Smith says these results reflect the competitive environment created by the company’s platform, which “consistently drives value for sellers and delivers certainty in a timely manner”.
Mid-summer auction
Smith Property is now accepting entries for its midsummer event, which is scheduled for Thursday, June 19, 2025. The auction will present “an excellent opportunity” for sellers to present their offerings to a motivated audience of pre-qualified buyers, ensuring the best chance of a successful and rewarding sale.“If you are considering bringing your property to market, we strongly encourage early action,” said Mr Smith.
“Begin preparations now, including instructing your solicitor, and ensure your property is auction ready; that will allow for a smoother and more efficient process,” he said.
“Our expert team is now accepting entries across Cavan, Monaghan, Meath, Westmeath, Longford, and Leitrim. We would be delighted to offer a complimentary market appraisal and discuss how auction could work best for your specific goals.”
