Bargain lots on offer with Smith Property auctions

Local auctioneering firm Smith Property has a number of interesting listings up for auction this month.

It’s a mixed bag in terms of what’s on offer, from residential to land and commercial, with offerings dotted countywide.

A 1.16 acre plot located along the N55 at Loughduff will go to auction with an advised minimum value (AMV) of €20,000; while a three bedroom, mid-terrace home at Kilmore Lower (Breandrum) is also up for auction with a guide price of €95,000.

A derelict country cottage in need of extensive renovation throughout with an AMV of €25,000 at Kildorough, Ballyjamesduff has also come to the market; while a 0.71 acre plot, just 10 minutes from Cavan Town, will go to auction with an AMV of €35,000.

Over in Ballyhaise village, a house considered to be a ‘DIY project’ will go under the hammer with an AMV of €60,000. The property has mains water and sewerage as well as PVC window and doors but is also in need of full refurbishment.

A three-bedroom end of terrace house up for grabs in Killeshandra Town centre. Comprising 85 sq m, the property also boasts a long garden meanwhile begins the day with an AMV of €85,000.

At Cappagh in Kilnaleck, a three-bedroom mid-terrace house close to the town centre with a large garden and independent access is being offered with an AMV of €95,000; while a landmark commercial property - Boolies on the Kells Road in Oldcastle - has also come onto the market with an AMV of €350,000 on auction day.

The premises covers 12,000 square feet over two floors and sits in the foothills of Lough Crew and at the beginning of the historic Boyne Valley.

This property is described as an “investment opportunity” and has prominent road frontage along the Kells Road.
