Cloudy, showery day ahead weather wise but mild

Mostly cloudy this morning with mist and fog patches, and patchy drizzle in the east and south. Showery rain will move into southern areas through the afternoon and spread northwards. Highest temperatures of 10 to 13 degrees in light to moderate east to southeast breezes.
A band of showery rain will clear northwards tonight, followed by drier and clearer weather. Towards morning, another band of rain will begin to move up from the south. Relatively mild with lowest temperatures of 7 to 9 degrees in moderate southeast wind.
Breezy tomorrow as a band of showery rain tracks northwards. Becoming drier with limited sunny spells following the rain. Mild for the time of year with highest temperatures of 12 to 15 degrees, in moderate to fresh east to southeast winds.
Becoming mostly dry overnight on Saturday as any lingering rain clears northern coasts. Some clear spells developing, with lowest temperatures of 4 to 9 degrees in light to moderate northeasterly breezes.
Dry across most areas on Sunday with spells of spring sunshine and just light to moderate east to northeast winds. Highest temperatures of 12 to 16 degrees, warmest away from eastern counties.
Continuing mostly dry overnight on Sunday with long clear spells developing in the east and south. Becoming cloudier elsewhere. Lowest temperatures of 3 to 6 degrees with light to moderate northerly winds.
Monday is expected a little cooler and breezier too but with generally dry with sunny spells and just isolated showers. Highest temperatures of 8 to 13 degrees in a rather brisk northeast wind - mildest across southern counties.
Continuing mostly dry with sunny spells on Tuesday. Possibly becoming cloudier later on with some light rain developing along northern coastal areas. Highest temperatures of 7 to 9 degrees in moderate to fresh northerly winds.
Further outlook: Overall dry but cool by day and cold by night with a return to frost and icy conditions.
