Road between Virginia and Ballyjamesduff reopens following accident

One person taken to hospital

The R194 between Virginia and Ballyjamesduff Road has reopened following a multi-vehicle collision earlier today.

The road was "temporarily closed" with diversions in place for a time.

Emergency Services attended the scene and it's understood that one person was taken to hospital. No major injuries have been reported.

Gardaí are investigating.
