Cold this morning with some frost and icy patches. Today will be mainly dry with plenty of sunshine and just a few passing light showers. Highest temperatures of 7 to 10 degrees with light west to northwest winds.
Tonight will be mainly dry with long clear spells and just isolated light showers. Frost and some icy patches will form as temperatures fall to between -2 and +2 degrees. Patches of mist and fog will develop too, in light and variable winds.
Frost, ice, mist and fog will clear tomorrow morning. It will be a largely dry day with sunny spells, turning hazy later. Highest temperatures of 7 to 10 degrees with light to moderate southerly winds, freshening near Atlantic coasts.
After a dry start, outbreaks of rain will develop in the northwest and will extend across much of Ulster, Connacht and west Munster overnight on Friday. Lowest temperatures of 1 to 7 degrees, coldest in the southeast, with light to moderate southerly winds.
A rather settled beginning to meteorological Spring, with just occasional light rain or drizzle.
The rain will continue moving southeast across the rest of the country on Saturday morning, becoming lighter and patchy as it does so, and will be followed by drier and brighter weather. Highest temperatures of 8 to 11 degrees with light to moderate southerly winds, turning northwesterly after the rain.
Saturday night will be dry with clear spells. Some frost and icy patches will form with lowest temperatures of -2 to +3 degrees. Patches of mist and fog will develop too in light and variable winds.
Generally dry on Sunday with a mix of cloud and sunny spells. Highest temperatures of 9 to 12 degrees with light to moderate southwesterly winds, fresh at times near Atlantic coasts.
Becoming cloudier overnight on Sunday, with some patchy light rain or drizzle in the west and north. Lowest temperatures of 2 to 8 degrees, coldest in the southeast, with light to moderate southwesterly winds.
Rather cloudy on Monday with patchy light rain or drizzle in the north and west. Drier with some brighter spells in the south. Highest temperatures of 10 to 13 degrees with light to moderate southwesterly winds.
