Catherine Cusack (née English), Stragelliffe, Cavan, Saturday February 22nd 2025, peacefully at home in the loving care of her family.
Predeceased by her parents Margaret and Eamonn English and her sister Mary.
Catherine will be very sadly missed and dearly loved by her husband Michael, her son Niall, daughters Mary (Reilly), Margaret (Mc Cormack), Catherine (Ames) and Emma (Dancey), her adored grandchildren and great grandchildren, sisters Anne and Margaret, brothers John and Edward, daughter in law, sons in law, brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, cousins, all her extended family and many friends. May she rest in peace.
Reposing at the Mc Mahon Funeral Home, Farnham Rd, Cavan on Monday evening from 6pm until 8pm. Removal from her home in Stragelliffe on Tuesday morning at 10.30am, travelling to the Cathedral of Saints Patrick and Felim, Cavan, arriving for Funeral Mass at 11 o'clock. Following mass the cortege will travel to St. Brigid's Cemetery, Laragh for committal prayers and burial. Family flowers only please, donations in lieu, if desired, to the wonderful Palliative Care Unit at Cavan General Hospital c/o Mc Mahon Funeral Directors or any family member. Drumgowna, Carrickmacross, Monaghan
The death has occurred of Rosie Callan (née Ward), Drumgowna, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan, Sunday 23rd February 2025, unexpectedly at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda. Recently predeceased by her loving husband, Gerry. Deeply regretted and sadly missed with love by her family - Marie (John), P.J., Margaret (Gussie), Martin (Madeleine), Geraldine (Cathal), John (Cathy), Thomas (Marcella), Sarah (Stephen), her 15 grandchildren, sister Mary, brother Ollie and sister-in-law Alice, nieces, nephews, extended family members, neighbours and friends.
