The Instaglam factor
Between rocking the boat or fine dining, a keepsake for the next day is often the last thought on a bride and groom or wedding guests’ mind.
That’s where Instaglam Photobooths comes in, an award-winning photobooth company based in Cavan, with their range of 14 units to suit any wedding theme, taking photos or videos that will last forever, even when the night has been long danced away.
Catering to the Irish wedding market, instantly printed photos can be taken home on the night; while the newlyweds receive a physical and digital album of all of the fun and antics had by guests during the wedding.
Not only does the booth serve as a memory creator, it also gets guests up on their feet and mingling together with photo props and camera flashes.
Managing Director Alan Gardiner is behind the award-winning photobooth and selfie mirror business, which is enjoyed by guests of all ages at weddings with the help of Instaglam’s warm and friendly staff who are on-hand to help out and have a laugh on the night.
“I think personally it’s a nice touch to the wedding because obviously, for the guests, it’s interactive, there’s staff with the unit so the staff will help everybody along and have a bit of fun with everyone.
“It brings a lot of the guests together who wouldn’t necessarily know each other, they’re all just jumping in grabbing photos, getting pictures and having a bit of fun and then obviously they have a nice keepsake, bringing the photos home,” he said, adding that the video booth will email content “straight away” while photos are printed on-site.
“It is good fun, we’re very busy,” he enthused.
“There’s a range of them [photobooths] there, all different sizes, vintage ones, touch screen ones, video ones, 360 and a couple of different options like that,” Alan outlined.
Instaglam also provides additional wedding offerings such as neon, flower or city back drops, Hollywood red carpets, light up letters and more.
In business since 2016, the Kilnavara-based business provided services to over 1,400 weddings last year. With their vast supply of units, they can cater for up to seven weddings per night.
“Especially now, weddings have everything at them,” Alan said, explaining that there is always “some little thing” for guests to interact with on the night.
“It’s not an expensive unit to hire for what you’re getting, it comes with a wedding guest book, you get a three-hour hire, it’s staffed, all the props, personalised and a digital and online wedding album of all the photos that were taken.”
The wedding guest book is left at reception at the end of the night with messages and photos, so the couple don’t have to wait to look back on the evening.
