Bright day ahead with light winds and the odd shower

A dry, largely bright and sunny day today with light winds. A little cloud will drift in at times during the afternoon with perhaps the odd shower across northwestern counties but most places will stay dry. Highest temperatures of 7 to 10 degrees.
Cold and clear tonight with light winds. Temperatures will fall quickly after sunset with lowest temperatures of 1 to -2 degrees with frost and ice expected.
Tomorrow, Thursday, is expected another dry and largely bright day however a touch more cloud will drift in across Munster and Connacht for a time in the afternoon. Staying dry and sunny elsewhere with highest temperatures of 6 to 9 degrees.
Mostly dry and clear overnight on Thursday with a light southeasterly breeze. A little cloud will develop along southwest and western counties however. Quite chilly with lowest temperatures of -1 to 2 degrees with a touch of frost and ice possible.
A cold start to Friday but it will be bright and sunny from late morning with plenty of dry weather through the course of the afternoon. A touch of cloud will drift in over Munster and Connacht with light to moderate southeasterly breezes. Highest temperatures of 6 to 9 degrees.
Any lingering cloud on Friday night will clear away to leave largely clear skies and plenty of dry weather overnight with light winds. Turning very cold however with lowest temperatures of 0 to -3 degrees with frost and ice expected.
Becoming very cloudy on Saturday and staying rather cool too. Mostly dry weather through the morning and afternoon but some light rain is possible across eastern counties later in the evening. Highest temperatures of 3 to 7 degrees with light southerly breezes.
Current indications would suggest a rather dry and bright day Sunday with plenty of sunshine. mixed day with cloudy periods and outbreaks of rain. Cool again with highest temperatures of 5 to 8 degrees in light winds.
