Derek Jermyn, 12 Laragh Crescent, Cavan town, Sunday February 2nd 2025, suddenly, at his home.
Predeceased by his parents Jackie and Joan.
Beloved husband and best friend of Fiona, devoted father of Jason (Dorothy) and Jenny (Lee) and adoring grandad of Aodaghan, Riley, Lily and Hunter. Derek will be very sadly missed by his heartbroken wife, loving children, adored grandchildren and his siblings Nat, Miriam, Christopher, Carol, David, Paul, Damian and Brendan, sisters and brothers in law, nephews, nieces, uncles, aunts, neighbours and many, many friends. May he rest in peace.

The death has occurred of Michael McEvoy, Frael, Ballyjamesduff, Co. Cavan. Peacefully on Sunday the 2nd of February 2025 at the grand age of 104, in the loving care of St. Josephs Nursing Home, Virginia, Co. Cavan.
Predeceased by his siblings Bridget, Nancy, Kitty, Frank (in Ireland), and Pat, Maureen & Fr. John (in the U.S.). Sadly missed by his nieces and nephews & extended family in Ireland and the Unites States.

Reposing at Matthews Funeral Home, Bailieborough Road, Virginia (A82 YV58) on Monday the 3rd of February from 5:30pm to 7pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 12 noon in St. Joseph's Church, Ballyjamesduff followed by burial in St. Joseph's cemetery on the Oldcastle Road.

Brothers and sisters: Paddy, Terry, Micheal, Oliver, Mary, Margaret, Liza, Bernie, Kathleen, Christina, brothers in- law, sisters in-law, nieces, nephews, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
Marian will be fondly remembered as a devoted wife and mother, grandmother, sister and a true friend to those in need over many years as Marian cared for the sick and housebound showing them compassion and great respect at all times in their homes.

Peggy Donohoe (nee Moore), 3 Townparks, Ballyhaise, Co.Cavan, Saturday February 1st 2025, peacefully in the loving care of her family and the staff at Cavan General Hospital.
Beloved wife and best friend of the late Jimmy Donohoe and loving mother of the late Jimmy Jnr.
Peggy will be very sadly missed by her loving family, daughters Ann (Martin), Tina (Brian), Rosie (Pauric), Dolores (Raymond), Beni (Eurich), son Philip (Majella), her adored grandchildren, Davin, Shauna, Jack, Meghan, Áine, Ryan, Ryley, Lucas, Adam, Darragh, Ellie, Donnacha, Daithí and Muireann, her sister's Martha Cahill (Pat) and Dodo Flynn (JP), sister in law Mary Cahill, nieces, nephews, her wonderful neighbours and many, many friends. Reposing at her home in Ballyhaise (H12R802) on Sunday February 2nd from 3pm until 8pm. Removal on Monday from her home at 1.30pm to the Cathedral of S.s Patrick and Felim, Cavan, arriving for Funeral Mass at 2pm. Following mass the cortege will travel to St.Patrick's Cemetery, Castletara (Via Ballyhaise Village) for committal prayers and burial in the family plot. Joseph (Joe) Murray, Ballinamoney, Bailieborough, Co Cavan died on the 1st February 2025, peacefully after a short illness, surrounded by his family. Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Mary Ann, his brother Michael and his baby daughter Mary.
Deeply regretted by his loving wife Grettie, sons Joseph and John, daughters Roseann, Patricia, Catherine and Elizabeth, brothers, sisters, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, extended family and friends.

Reposing at Clarke's Funeral Home, Bailieborough on Sunday 2nd February from 4pm - 7pm. Family time thereafter. Removal to St. Anne's Church, Bailieborough via his residence to arrive at 8pm. The death has occurred of Martin Kelly – Bellview Heights, Mullingar, Co Westmeath and formerly of Emyvale, Co Monaghan and 4th Field Engineers, Athlone – February 1st, 2025 (peacefully) in the company of his loving wife and in the excellent care of the staff at the Midland Regional Hospital Mullingar.
Predeceased by his parents Sheila and Packie and his god daughter Serena (recently deceased).
Beloved husband of Catherine (née Lehane) and dear brother of Patricia (McQuaid), Peter, Packie and Sheila (Maguire); Martin will be very sadly missed and forever remembered by his wife, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews, relatives, good neighbours and friends.

Martin’s Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday February 4th at 11 am in the Cathedral of Christ the King followed by cremation at Lakelands Crematorium Cavan at 2 pm.

Claire McBride née McCaughey, Lakeview, Castleblayney, Friday 31st January peacefully in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by her parents, Eugene and Mary, her siblings Peter, Carmel (Fischer), Tommy, Eugene, Rosie and recently her niece Catriona.
Deeply regretted and remembered with love by her daughter Tara, grandsons Quinn and Alex, brothers and sisters, Pat, Mary, Ted, Veronica, Jim and Gerard, brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Claire will repose at her family home in Lakeview on Saturday and Sunday from 2 pm to 9 pm with removal on Monday morning at 11:15 am arriving for funeral mass at 12noon in St. Mary’s Church, Castleblayney. Burial afterward in the adjoining cemetery.

Sadly missed by his wife Mary Francis, Daughters Illona & Faela, grandchildren Saoirse, Shannon, Patrick and Michael. Great granddaughter Ella. Sons in law Raymond and Liam Og, brothers Kevin and Martin, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Paddy will repose at Smyth funeral directors (eircode A75 DT93) on Sunday 2nd February from 4pm - 8pm. Removal from his home on Monday 3rd February to arrive at the church of the most holy rosary Tullycorbett (eircode A75 FN36) for 11am funeral mass. Internment afterwards in adjoining cemetery.
